Russian failures do not justify IRI's inherent socio-political faults. Because of stupid policies of sacrificing Iran to gain favor of traitor arabs, Iran is now probably at its peak danger times, probably higher than it was during the war with arab Baathists. An internal implosion, similar to USSR seems possible now

Supporting a Muslim brotherhood salafi groups was a mistake from the start . Khamenei with his Muslim Umma ideology did it ....
We should use our cultural and national ties and only limit ourselves to where we can directly reach by ourselves....

times to stop day dreaming about leading Muslim world ( which more than 90 % of Iranian didn't believe in it ) and focus on our country ....

The situation is more complex than it seems, actually, the, the Iranian economy is not bad at all. The country's GDP PPP is almost $2 trillion USD, despite crippling international sanctions and that's with zero foreign debt. If we rank Islamic countries by their PPP GDP minus the foriegn debt, Iran ranks 2nd after KSA. Turkey as an example has 50% of its GDP just built of Anglo-Jew debt without which they are much below Iran.

What Iran is suffering from is USD shortage which is resulting in the devaluation of the Rial and inflation. So while high PPP GDP indicates that Iran has strong domestic production ecosystem, the restricted access to international oil markets that deal in USD has ceased the USD inflow leading to sharp depreciation of the Rial. Its pretty similar to Russian Ruble losing value against USD all the while Russian GDP PPP stayed top. BRICS in general failed.

No Islamic country took direct hits from US/NATO-Israel for these Levant Arab muslims, except for Iran. What did we gain from spending hundreds of billions on Hamas, Hezbollah, Syria, Yemen, Iraq?

All of the large Islamic countries are severely compromised entities with massive debts from west, Iran failed to understand that no Islamic country would even fire a single bullet in the direction of Israel for this reason yet Iran kept on ruining itself to save "muslims", spent billions, got its people killed in the process. Umma concept is a joke. In an alternative Universe, without getting their heads in Arab rare bottoms, if Ayatollahs wanted they would have had an Iran that should have been a nuclear armed country in 1990s with its own space constellation and a GDP PPP of 5-7 trillion USD. Ayatollahs had every opportunity to cash with a brilliant nation. Instead of clueless islamic identity, they should have invested in institutions to raise awareness about Iranian identity, iranic genes, three millennium old history of Iranic empires to create a localized national idea that Iranians living in Iran generally have no awareness about. Its just useless to discuss at this point.
