Again, if you analyze it in its proper context... that is to expand your horizon. This wasn't aimed at Pakistan, eventhough the strikes targeted locations inside its territory.

There is a greater game... when I first mentioned jitters in Iranian top brass ... I didn't misspeak... Iran shot down an Airliner in the heat of Suleimani crisis.

In this case it had to again get ahead of the curve... be the protagonist and progenitor. The issue was the execution and not the thought process.
The intent was to demonstrate a capability and its consequences to the right crowd.

If it created a deterrent with them... it served the purpose while antagonizing Pakistan.

Agreed - but the underlying flaw in the theocratic revolutionary model in Iran is coming to light. These models are useful for revolutionary purposes but then need revisionism for actually running a state.

I agree Pakistan has full right to defend itself but still at this economic situation he should not have retaliated back.....

1) Do you guys honestly feel China and Russia will like if a full blown war between Pakistan and Iran starts? Iran is equally important to both Russia and China..... you are not only pampered child....

2) Don't you think now Iran can actually have a field day against your shipping lines in red sea with the help of proxies like Houthis? They can even make life miserable for you in Straits of hormuze....

3) Even USA won't like any new war front her resources are too stretched in helping Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.....

It is Iran's interest that it backs down. Won't end well for them. My reasoning is as follows:

a. Saudi and UAE will fund American weapons to Pakistan. Israel will have no problem for this.
b. Pak-Iran war will result in TTP getting bolder and carrying out incursions into KP.
c. India will also join in for the Pakistan Azaad Kashmir region, trying to link to Afghanistan, Wakhan corridor.

In all of the above, Pakistan will get overwhelmed and will want to exert its strength and stop the incursions on all 3 sides. So what happens?

a. Nuke India? We nuke back. Not acceptable.
b. Nuke Afghanistan? To what end? Afghanistan will try to destablise it further.
c. Nuke Iran? Best case scenario. Americans, Saudis, UAE and Israel will say, tsk tsk and end o fmatter. Story line will be that, Iran was aggressor and Pakistan was defending. Will send message to India, don't cross IB. Will cement its place in the Muslim world and will be a true balancer to Turkey with backing from UAE and Saudi.

So, in all this Iran will be the end loser. I don't see Iran wanting to do anything beyond what its done.

Strengthening the military capabilities of Iran and Afghanistan is advantageous for India as it would strain the Pakistan army. This collaboration among the three nations could effectively counter terrorist organizations nurtured by Pakistan to destabilize neighboring regions. To achieve this objective, India needs to focus on developing a self-reliant Military Industrial Complex, independent of Western influences.
