Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

What was interesting is that the last Zionist attack on the Houthis needed ALBMs and the airport was not totally disabled.

This suggests that the Houthis could potentially have some newer Iranian MRSAMs in their inventory.
That's great news indeed! Hopefully the Houthis can manage to shoot down some Zionist planes soon! 😃

Yemenis have Iranian Taer-2 SAM but so did Hezbollah and they were not able to use it successfully

Apparently they fired it a few times at Israeli fighter jets but no intercepts

But if Iran prioritises Yemen more after fall of Syria to radical pro-Israel terrorists then perhaps we can see more advanced Iranian ADS such as Khordad-15 in Yemen in the near future (we already see the advanced Iranian Kheibar Shekan-2 MRBM in Yemen as the "Palestine-2" missile)

Even being able to lock on and fire SAMs at Zio-US planes acts as some sort of deterrent.

With Hezbollah it was a little different, as their MRSAMs were extremely vulnerable to air attack as Lebanon is right next door and tiny compared to the areas in Yemen that Houthis control.

Still very interestinc that Sanaa Airport was not carpet bombed as it suggests lack of capability than intent. Of course distance is a factor but maybe solely not the only one.

Yes, if Iran can supply 1-2 batteries of Khordad 15 to Houthis that would radically up their air defence capability.

CENTCOM have not continued strikes to houthies yet.

Maybe they even dont know what failed in the selfbombing of their fighter jets.

Amazing.

USA military is designed to kill beggars and cavemen. IFF only works well when you kill extremely poor people, like USA used to do.

Against some developed technological enemy, their electronic things start to fail.

This against Iran technology.

So imagine against China, USA likely would self destroy themselves completely in the first movement.

Yemen fires 2 ballistic missiles at Tel Aviv

These Houthi warriors are relentless man. Im thinking not even the threat of a nuclear attack will deter them from what they are doing.

I dont know how much a ballistic missile costs, but I suspect the interceptor missile is several times more expensive.

Im guessing the Houthi tactic is to do a war of attrition that wears down the enemy in the long run.

Yes by some godly miracle and Houthis selfless warrior spirit, they are managing to annoy and terrify the settlers in Occupied Palestine even more than Hezbollah did when you take in the number of settlers that are being affected.

Yes they are not killing at anywhere near the rate of Hezbollah but the psychological impact on the settlers as a whole is greater here.

Impact in Tel Aviv (Israelis say fragment of intercepted warhead landed)

I am impressed by Yemen's rate of fire, didn't expect their stocks of MRBMs to be this large, even after months of US airstrikes

common wisdom is the Yemenis produce at least some parts of the missiles inside Yemen then smuggle in the remaining parts from Iran

there are many IRGC engineers in Yemen assisting them

No way the Houthis can produce some of the most sophisticated sub-systems like navigation equipment.

Missile casing, engines and potentially fuel would be doable for them
