China could dominate the sky with two flying sixth-generation fighter jets as the US struggles to design one

China has certainly made impressive progress, but what is often overlooked is that the network-centric warfare of the Americans and Europeans offers a significant advantage. Its not just about individual technologies or the performance of individual weapons, but about how well all military platforms, from fighter jets, satellites, and drones to warships and ground forces are interconnected in real time.

China still has a long way to go to catch up with the Wests capability in network-centric warfare.

The RQ-180 is IN Production, and fulfills the Penetrating ISR role of the US 6th Gen FoS.
Chino fanboys are a funny bunch as they get carried away over new toys they are clueless about.

They quickly forget (purposely to avoid reality) that US has a whole other aircraft program that is in the black that is over $80 billion a year. NGAD program is in between black and what the F-35 program was. Years ago US flew their black aircraft in formation broad daylight at con altitude over populated centers to make sure they are seen and to send a message to Russia and China that they aren't even in the same league...

Ignore the opinion of the yokels about what they think the aircraft is for they were likely paid by USAF to make sure to look up to take the pictures.

So these dorito looking aircraft have never been seen again so who knows what their role is but it is likely a penetrator.

F22 was unveiled even during prototype stage in the 90s, I remember they even had a documentary showing the competition between F22 and YF23 in the 90s? So if the US 6th gen aircraft is really at the prototype stage, they should have unveiled it by now. LOL

US three stream adaptive cycle engines are ready for full production in 2027. That alone makes it more advanced.

Also 40 years of operational development and utilization of stealth aircraft. US RCS reduction capabilities are state of the art as seen with ELO class B-21 design.

US radar and sensor capability are also state of the art. Will likely feature APG-85 class radar capability at minimum.

US military aerospace capabilities are state of the art at every scale.

10 years ago, no American would even bother explaining, they just KNOW they are ahead! Now, I see desperate cheerleaders here....how times have changed.

You Lol as if you said something so clever but all you did is show what a clueless person you are. The F-117 wasn't made public (seen)until 1990 and it went IOC in 1983 and flew combat mission in Panama in 1989. Many prototypes were in the black and made public after retiring or tech demonstrator not chosen.

See what happens when you think you're clever? The NGAD is between black program and F-22/F-35 which means the program is acknowledged we even know certain tech it will have but the aircraft itself hasn't been made public. The aim-260 is about to enter service and it's supposedly the size of an aim-120 but it hasn't been made public too.

Btw I love how Yu completely ignore the delta aircraft that I posted. We got sht flying that is decades ahead of anything Yu celestials have on CG. Lulz

Just an FYI

Advance Tactical Fighter Project (The project that pitch YF-22 against YF-23) officially initiated in May 1981 (as now declassified material stated) and the origin of the project go as far as before I was born, some say it's 1979 while other said it was 1971.

F-22 prototype Raptor 01 was officially first flight in 1990, unveiled on April 9, 1997, and delivered by 2005.

Mover and Gonky (both ex fighter pilot) react to this video. Their comment is just gold......

Same ..... J36, J50, and H20 were black 5 to 10 years ago ... but now they are revealed, which means China already has other black project like 7th generation fighters in initia development.

It is so called "China speed".

J-36 may have first flied 5 years ago when it was still black project.

Hahahaha I was waiting for ya man. You didn't dissapoint me. Yes, the coping begins. Lolol. Of course there is a secret super plane somewhere, it has to be, forget about the trillions burnt for nothing.

So where is it? Apparently China tested a gen 8 fighter back in the 90s, that's according to my grandpa. I am still waiting for a picture mate. Lolololol

What cope?? So now telling you the factual date is coping??

The fact is that the USAF hidden the F-22 prototype for 7 years (probably longer) cope or not, that is unchangeable, as this is a fact.

I don't know if NGAD already taken flight or not and to be fair, I don't really care, but I wouldn't discount it as nothing because the history of F-22 development.

On the other hand, let me tell you what cope is. A bunch of yahoos looking at a video and saying a tail-less aircraft is 6th gen. I mean either you have that good of an eye to have known the material different of that jet from just a video (by the way, as Gonky point out, the engine smoke ffs.........) or people are just wanting to believe what they want to believe, and I don't think anyone have that good of an eye

So tell me, what you see in that video would suggest it is a 6th fighter? I don't know about you, but for me I saw a tailless design that may have thrust vectoring platform that may or may not be manned. All those are already existed technology, in fact, my brother point it out (who is another fighter pilot and work for RR with Trent Engine development) said that small craft have more similiarity to a RC-180 than a 6th Gen Fighter, you can't get just that and say it's a 6th gen because 5th gen would have it too, so you must have seen something else or know something else to tell me that is a 6th gen platform? So please educate me.

In fact, what or how you define 6th gen fighter? LOLOLOL, anything with delta wing and tail less is 6th gen? Well, then sure, why not?

Easy....

Because China has already have 2 5th generation fighter : J-20 and J-35 (which they classify as 4th gen fighters).

Therefore J-36 and J-50 should be the next generation after the 5th generation aka : 6th gen.

Because :

1. It is illogical for China to have 4 different kind of 5th gen fighter.

2. China is at the forefront for the technology needed for 6th gen fighter, such as: AI, advanced sensors, advanced data fusion, direct weapon (laser), metamaterial, quantum technology.
