No Indian can work in Aerospace sector, one has to be either US citizen or GC. The so called software can not be designed by any Indian by law.

The aerospace work can not be outsourced to India.

The facilities in India are part of supply chain of aircrafts not part of design team

But in reality it was hardware(or lack of it)issue. They lacked enough sensors to detect AOA.

Boeing didn't even blame coders, but pilots.

Boing fcked up with its design and didn’t anticipate all the scenarios and for one if the scenarios due to which accident happened no software workaround was created ..

So yes the quality of RnD in both hardware and software side was lacking and in these fields no foreign nationals are legally be employed

Well between the two of you, you have established that there is a strong case for moving both hardware and software jobs to India- cheaper, better quality control. The airlines can pitch in by recruiting Indian pilots as well.

I can see many people not flying Boeing airplanes from now on. That safety thing is never going to leave peoples minds. I don't know the ins and outs of how this was connected to the Indian tech guys, but it's about perceptions.

I am afraid the supply side in the aircrafts business is very tight- airlines and their customers will have to settle for whatever they can lay their hands on.

Airbus?
I certainly do and that's nothing to do with Indian tech guys. I just don't trust Boeing at all and they are lying through their teeth regarding the whole tragedies.

Yes I acknowledge that, but I'll still look for Airbus planes as will many others. Go to aviation forums and the frequent fliers sections, they share my sentiments.
