Let's see what you'd do if you were a tiny nation in the middle of 3 empires.
But it was a Russian puppet StateBrother I make it a point to read and investigate the general discourse are all the neighboring states of turkey and how things are discussed amongst them. With regards to the Pro Western Pro EU segment of Armenia, I frequent /r/armenia and follow many Pashinyan supporters on twitter. I assure you, in their mindset Serz and Robert Kocharyan are all Russian puppets who want to turn Armenia into a Russian state like the several ethnic republics in Russia or Belarus.
Yes,but with the whole Nagorno-Karabakh issue and the problems with Azerbaijan,it's very hard. Azerbaijan is allied with Turkey, you know how Armenian and Turkish relations have been,so it's kind of like the Balkans. Now they don't have Russian protection and they can't get Western protection either. It's like you said, they have to go through either Turkey,Iran,Azerbaijan or Russia. Georgia of course is a Turkish ally,so I don't think they would let Americans give weapons to Armenia. The way to do this by being Switzerland and having diplomatic engagement with all major powers in the region and to give assurances that you won't stab one of them on another power's behalf or jeopardize their interests, you play this via balancing.
But it was a Russian puppet StateArmenia had this problem, they West was too far so they couldn't have an alliance with the West and the Russians weren't providing them with any real benefits. So they were stuck with the Russians. Little money, old weapons,no real allies.
From what I've heard,Kocharyan got really rich all these years
I'm basically agreeing with you on this post,Armenia was a Russian puppet State.OMG, I'm going to tag 50 people, its an outrage, how dare you write things with Emoji and casually. Is this Joke to You???

The era of neo-ottoman dreams are over
We must strike our enemies in the worst way of possible if they try to cut our route to europe
I am not talking about revolutions here, in Armenia or Turkey. What part is not true? lol
Armenia had a velvet revolution and the old Pro Russian regime fell.

2018 Armenian Revolution - Wikipedia
en.wikipedia.org
The 2018 Armenian Revolution, most commonly known in Armenia as #MerzhirSerzhin (Armenian: #ՄերժիրՍերժին, meaning "#RejectSerzh"), was a series of anti-government protests in Armenia from April to May 2018 staged by various political and civil groups led by a member of the Armenian parliament — Nikol Pashinyan (head of the Civil Contract party). Protests and marches took place initially in response to Serzh Sargsyan's third consecutive term as the most powerful figure in the government of Armenia, later broadening against the ruling Republican Party, who were in power since 1999. Pashinyan declared it a Velvet Revolution (Թավշյա հեղափոխություն, T'avshya heghap'vokhut'yun).
The Russians were supposed to be protecting the Armenians, but they let the Azeris move almost up to Stepanakert without doing anything. That's the whole point.
I know,I know...they've basically lost the game.If Armenians think they can court America as a source of protection and guarantor against Azerbaijan. They have another one coming...
It would be a suicidal move... landlocked, having grievance or active conflict against two of its immediate neighbors. While Iran and Russia an assurance against belligerence. With Americans coming not only between both Russia and Iran, but also Azerbaijan and Turkiye... it has a potential of becoming a flashpoint... where all neighbors potentially becoming hostile reconciling their differences.
Remember Americans can always extract themselves, the price will be paid by Armenians. Instead of courting security they'd become cheap pawns... motivated and expendable... perfect proxies.
