There were no rockets fired from Gaza. It was an Israeli airstrike on northern Gaza that set off sirens in nearby Sderot.

Israel broke the ceasefire, to the surprise of nobody.

That won't stop people from going back to their homes and getting a breather. It's more of a demonstration of Israeli hatred.

Israel wants a list of its prisoners to know who's alive or not. So it can quickly violate the ceasefire before phase 1 is over (42 days). It will demand the ones alive first and demand they all be released in one week.

Then it will try to quickly reinstate war on Gaza as it thinks breaking the ceasefire in its early stages will be less controversial than breaking it 42 days in.

This was not a condition in the ceasefire agreement but Israel has out of nowhere demanded this as a condition for ceasefire to hold.

A very big violation of the ceasefire agreement which is being communicated to mediators right now.

Hamas won, Yemen won, Hezbollah lost, shortest possible summary of last year and half in narrow military sense but with huge price for capacity engaging in another military operation for at least next 10 years ahead. So, that time should be used for the highest intensity charged diplomacy while Gaza is rebuilt and region reshaped. That is not easy task as externally Iran is out of the picture and Hamas would need to acquire confidant and capable actor for their outer ring strategy and on the surface there is none for that.
