Oh really? Maybe you guys should just sit down and criticise your government from time to time. You've seen me,I have no problem criticizing my government heavily nor talking about their blunders. When Dendias talks big,I tell you how that funny that sounds. But somehow you especially and some other guys here in lesser degrees have no "self-sarcasm" when it comes to your government. Erdogan talks big and makes ridiculous statements and yet you guys never criticise that,you always find excuses and end up portraying him and the entire Turkish government as infallible and enlightened leaders.
Look at the Pakistanis,they talk about every stupid thing their leaders say. Look at the Bangladeshis. Look at some of the Arabs. Even some of the Iranians are criticizing some of their government's decisions.
But you guys,you always try to find an excuse to every nonsense Erdogan does or says. In this case,you sat down and wrote this whole text "you don't know what happens behind close doors" blah blah blah...Erdogan himself kept proudly advertising how much he cares for Palestinians and how much Turkey is the protector of poor and persecuted in the region. For more than a year he did ABDOLUTELY NOTHING to stop Israel from annihilating Gaza.
When you promote your country for years,as a regional superpower with the strongest army and some of the best weapons and equipment in the world, and then you basically spend 5 years picking on little guys,how do you expect others to see you? He's a bitter Greek, they are jealous Iranians,they are incompetent Arabs. But hey,you are the ones actually talking big about protecting them Palestinians and Syrians and then don't deliver!

P5 members can call for a meeting, and technically the non permanent members can call one, but not really, b/c it requires more than one state. Currently Algeria, Pakistan and Somalia are UNSC memebers, that would be willing to call, but it gets vetoed or outvoted by the rest.
These meetings cannot realistically be called unless you either have a majority or you have a P5 member backing the initiative(US, UK, France, China, Russia)

I thought Iran said it cared about countering Israel and supported Syrian territorial integrity? lol, the reality is Iran is a threat to Syria's territorial integrity, their general even made that clear, they would "prefer chaos" and a broken up syria, b/c in his words, "Chaos benefits Iran" and "Iran thrives in operating in Chaotic environemets" One can really make the argument that Iran and Israel have the same goals in Syria. which is a weak broken up syria that both can exploit.
Iranians backing Alawite seperatists, PKK Seperatists, their general said they made lots of contacts with the different factions, Khamenei even encouraged insurrection.

Why didn't Hezbollah take it over to "guard" it? lol, instead they go and try to cause problems in Homs, go do something useful take the Areas, if not for Syria, but for your own interests in not letting Israel take positioning over Beqqa valley. Syrian won't object, you want to "help syria" right? thats what they have been saying for 15 years of murder.
Instead of "helping syrians" by causing BS in Homs, go help Syria by taking Israeli positions to "guard it". Syrian will congratulate you. lol

Look man, if you don't know how the UN works, sometimes its better to not comment at all.
90% of the UN doesn't matter. General Assembly resolutions only happen during certain times of the year when the whole world comes to NYC and meets.
UNSC resolutions happen when a member on the UNSC calls a meeting, the meetings only usually happen when there is a P5 member calling for it, or there is some sort of majority consensus. There are currently 3 states (Algeria, Pakistan and Somalia) that would be receptive to challenging Israel, but thats not a majority and not any of the P5.
I made comments on what Turkey is doing in terms of realistic action, but you didn't seem to read my comment..

Israel only took those positions b/c Hezbollah's bestie Assad ordered all troops to leave their positions and come to Damascus to protect him, and then he fled like a coward instead of dying fighting.
