Turkey Syria - News & Updates

Yes,tag 50 people. You made a sarcastic comment,I replied to you. You asked for the source,I showed you your quote.

You literally want me to go look in the Turkish Armed Forces threads about boasting quotes? I have plenty of MMM-E,might have some of Oublious,I could probably find some of yours too.

Are you denying Erdogan guaranteed the territorial integrity of Syria?

I'm not MME, you made a claim about me.

Where is the word Guarantee in your screenshots. You made it sound like Turkey said they would go to war with Israel in the Golan, I didn't see anything like that.

Of Course Turkey supports Syrian Territorial integrity, and it will do everything thats reasonably possible to support the Syrian govt in that. its been quite vocal about that.

Will you really pretend you are not salivating under posts of Turkey's arms programs and technological progress? Eeey Hiparman!

Turkey given the time, can create an efficient Syrian Army, but I personally believe it will still be inferior its Turkish counterpart and will be mostly good as an upgraded and more sophisticated "vassal force" or at least a better militia. In any case, they can't do anything right now.

Give quotes.

You have none. I'm prepared to defend my quotes, or withdraw them if need be, but you must produce the evidence first.

So that's how you wanna play it? You want me to start taking screenshots of everything you say from now on?

Guys, chill.

No one in Türkiye is supportive of Israeli incursions into Syrian territory. I believe the Israelis are biding their time to assess Syria's future trajectory. Should the regime gain recognition and succeed in stabilizing the country, the Israeli government is likely to withdraw from the area. Conversely, if Syria descends into chaos akin to Somalia, they may consider annexing those regions indefinitely. Thus far, the new leadership has demonstrated wisdom and strategic thinking.

However, expecting significant changes in a short timeframe may lead to doubts about your genuine intentions. It's important to remember that Greece is still grappling with the aftermath of the 2009 crisis. There's a well-known saying about the pot calling the kettle black.

The Syrians, the Turks and 90 percent of all Arab cititzens in the ME have patiently awaited 15 years for this crucial chance to remove Assad, as he has consistently excluded large parts of his own people from his national vision for Syria.

You should understand that Ankara is focused on long-term strategies.

I know the majority of Turks are against Israel,as is probably the majority in Greece(both leftists and right-wing)except for a part who think like Western NATO fanboys. Again,I'm talking about the hawkish behavior of Israel and not of course be against peace-loving individuals or generally the people who just want to live without taking over more land or going to war.

It's not about Syria attacking Israel right now,but all the bravado and statements by the AKP government. That's what I've been talking about. Syria is in no position to even defend itself right now. They can't.

That's one of the mistakes the Assad regime did. For ages, they kept this stubborn policy and hardly changed it even during the war.

You should understand that Ankara is focused on long-term strategies.
I think that became clear a few years ago. And that's why we're frustrated and nagging about our own government here on the internet. Because Turkey has a better geopolitical strategy and aims than us. And because the Turkish politicians,no matter their differences and political ideology, always support the strengthening of the country and don't say "no" to upgrading the Armed Forces. While ours, bicker like chickens and only find common ground when it's about sharing money or dodging accusations. They each act according to their political agenda and not the best of the country.

He just refuses to criticize Erdogan's statements or his policies, always excusing him. For him everything is Assad's fault,Assad this and Assad that. Turkey played a major role in escalating the civil war, they basically helped destroy a far from perfect, but still functioning and relatively peaceful country and now he blames Assad for not protecting Syria and the like. Can't argue with this logic.

Nothing Erdogan ever does is wrong for some of these guys. Erdogan could say "We'll march to Israel and free Jerusalem",he won't do it and they will excuse him with the typical "now is not the time",meanwhile boasting about the state-of-the-art capabilities and strength of their Armed Forces. Eh,then they get angry "don't mind him, greek is just bitter. Iranians are just jealous".

You wrote this but came with this? Foni this is not a source, if you read what is told will denied your clams.

Ahmed Al-Sharaa, Head of the New Syrian Administration:

- The Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) did not respond to our request to limit the possession of arms to state authorities.
- The Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and the YPG exploit the issue of ISIS to further their own interests.
- We cannot accept any Israeli advances into Syrian territory.
