Iranian Chill Thread

@Cthulhu

I agree that some 55+ figures are "ezafe" in Iranian society. I think you know my thoughts about Iran.

It's very unfortunate that in this case some separatist traitors like smkokurd (an X user which I don't know) or a "patiareh" like Massih Alinejad jump on the horse to claim attention, ofcourse mostly due to incompetence of Islamic Republic. But they are traitors in different form (one being a stooge of enemies of Iran selling out Iran for personal wealth, the other being a separatist who is ready to kill Iranians for his separatist fantasy).

Simko Shikak is a historical figure whose actions are viewed through differing lenses depending on the perspective. Simko (Ismail Agha Shikak) was active in the early 20th century and played a significant role in Kurdish history. His "crimes" or controversial actions, as reported by various sources, include:

1.

  • Simko led armed uprisings against the Iranian government in an attempt to establish autonomy or independence for Kurdish regions. His forces clashed with the Iranian military on multiple occasions.
  • These uprisings were considered acts of rebellion by the central Iranian government.

2.

  • Simko is particularly infamous for orchestrating the assassination of Mar Shimun XXI Benyamin, the patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East, in 1918.
  • Mar Shimun had met Simko under the pretext of peace negotiations, but Simko's men ambushed and killed him, reportedly to eliminate a rival leader in the region.

3.

  • Simko's forces engaged in raids across Kurdish and neighboring territories. These raids included looting villages, targeting rival tribes, and creating instability in the region.
  • Some of these actions were framed as part of his larger campaign for Kurdish autonomy, while others are described as opportunistic.

4.

  • Simko's campaigns often included violent actions against Assyrian communities. The killing of Mar Shimun and attacks on Assyrian villages contributed to widespread distrust between the Assyrians and Kurds during his era.
  • These actions are considered by some historians as sectarian violence or ethnic cleansing.

5.

  • Simko has been accused of collaborating with foreign powers such as the Ottoman Empire or even Western states during World War I to advance his own agenda, though this remains a contentious point.

Legacy:

Assyrians and the Iranian state—view him as a divisive and violent figure responsible for significant bloodshed and unrest.

His controversial legacy highlights the complex dynamics of nationalism, tribalism, and conflict in the region during the early 20th century.

The Master-slave relationship of Islamic Republic and Russia very clear in this clip.

So is there any military dimension to this latest 'strategic' pact? Any kind of military assistance that benefits Iran?

Last offensive weapons Russia sold IR was back in the 90's. Any update if there is any change in the master-slave relationship? Or is IR supposed to do their best all the time for Russia?

ofcourse mostly due to incompetence of Islamic Republic.
That's it man. No need for over analyzing this crap. We are doing it for 4+ decades.

When the system is rotten to the core how are you going to fix it? Alinejad is a child of the regime herself. She was brought up during IR rule. It is IR's responsibility that its children grow up well. Any rebelling that takes place is the direct result of incompetence of the unselected few.

Ofcourse as time passes IR and its legacy will slowly fade away from Iranian society but at what cost in the short/medium term? Thats also another important point to consider.

Compare to those who grew up in another society and fought tanks with their fists

You owe to terrorists who want to destroy Iran and turn it to 1700 🤣

Pezeshkian said last months that if there is a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon, our response will be different!

what does Gaza have to do with Israel bombing Iran and killing 5 Iranians?

A nation that once had the greatest airpower in the Middle East now resorting to 2 trainers and rumours of 2 mediocre fighter jets.

It just depicts the sad sorry state Iran is in. No doubt Iran will again rise but what we are seeing currently is honestly an insult to our nation.
