Best J-36 video analysis online. In my opinion

I find him quite amateurish, he gets a lot of things wrong, his so called "analysis" is based on Wikipedia it seems.

IMO J-36 replace Flankers while J-50 replace J-10. It appears J-36 is somewhat bigger than J-50 with 3 engines instead of 2 engines.

3 WS-10 / 15 engines generate a lot of power. I wouldn't be surprised if J-36 has higher power to weight ratio than F-22. This thing is looking like a speed demon.

you're just assuming too much, wait for specifications to come, if it has top-speed of above Mach-2.5 then it will have least maneuverability/agility

It could be fast and maneuverable. P-38 had 2 engines and was both fast and maneuverable.

I don't believe China will replace J-10 (specially C version) this soon. J-50 may appear around 2030, by then J-10C will not even be 15 years old. China is investing alot of time and resources into J-10C so I don't believe China is seeking it's replacement . Not at least before 2040. Also, USA have around 500+ F-35 now but it still operates F-16. This means you need high low mix to reduce operational cost. J-10C isn't going anywhere.

Physics says with extreme speed it can't be maneuverable and agile, and don't compare J36 with WW2 era piston engine plane lol, can P-38 goes beyond 2.5 Mach or 2,600 miles per hour?

A fast plane can also be very maneuverable. In fact, J-36 has very big wingspan to length ratio. This indicates it's built with maneuverability in mind.

Not the reason it still operates F-16.

The reason is that it needs to wait for new build F-35s before you can retire the F-16 as otherwise you don't have enough aircraft at any one time.

If the US had zero 4th generation fighters now, it will not be building anymore but just F-35.

Only reason that it is building some small numbers of new F-15 is as a "bomb truck". There is no option to build new F-22s as it closed the production line years ago.

No, just no, extra-large wings to length ratio is nothing to do with maneuverability and agility, for example SR-71 had similar wings to length ratio but was a least maneuverable spy jet and same goes to MIG-25/31, IF J36 WILL BE ABLE TO GO BEYOND MACH 2.5 THEN IT WILL HAVE SAME MANEUVERABILITY AND AGILITY LIKE MIG-25/31 5Gs or less you can't change the basic physics laws, may be Chinese physics at work for J36 lol
