Pakistan, the IVC, and a Land of continuous migration and mixing

He saved the discussion.

Can I attend to other threads, leave this one to you and Krptonite, please?

Certainly. The way you patiently engage some folks after the stale reductive "eye for an eye" trolling they get into regd aforementioned "politics" thats gone on for pages is something I just couldn't do.

I am used to conversations I have had over the years with civilisation experts+enthusiasts not just for IVC but all of the world. Real mountains are moved with sometimes just a couple of posts because there is great credibility and consistency proven already. Complete opposite of handful of dirt antics that often disrupts anything meaningful that does pop up in more politically invested forums shall we say. Sigh. Oh well.

This is why I naturally pay attention to folks like Oscar and tune out rest that are somewhat the antithesis to proven calibre here...either fully or on certain matters.

If any of it is really getting to you, by all means take a break and recalibrate engagement as you see fit to.

I keep thinking about how things work in insaniyat, and feeling very sad, and pitying people here.

Precisely and painfully so. In those conversations, people start with shared knowledge foundations. Here we have all that rotten social media maundering to brush away before being able to say anything sensible.

I am not frustrated so much as physically exhausted. It takes me back to my teaching days, when a matter had to be explained again and again and again, to carry the back-benchers along with the eaga beavas.
