The days of DFI.jpg are a thing of the past, since its demise last summer. But IDRW is still around with its usual b.s.

Remember when we say that India/Indians are obsessed with Pakistan, here is another example.

I'm sure you'll all enjoy this one...

Khair... , I thought since its Juma, sub nay Namaz par' li ho gi, tou ab ye [chutyapa] bhee par lain. I'm wondering why are they keeping those shinny brand spanking new Rafales away from Pakistan? Uunko bhee tou bhaijoo PAK Airspace may.

Bus Indians say ye kaam kar wa lo: We'll do this and then we'll do that.

End Result...:

Stopped reading and started laughing when I got to the words "The mission begins with Mirage 2000s...."

The Mirage 2000 has a history of successfully shooot down F-16 fighter in combat. Moreover, if I’m not mistaken, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) does not possess the complete fleet of Block 52 F-16s.

On another note, I didn’t watch the simulation , but bombing along borders tends to be a relatively straightforward task. Neither the PAF nor the Indian Air Force (IAF) have been able and ability to prevent one another’s operations in such scenarios.

The dynamics of warfare have significantly evolved since the 1960s and 1970s. Success now depends on a multitude of factors, with careful planning and effective execution being critical to achieving superiority.

Long Range Stand Off Munitions are the most important piece of Weaponry

The more the better

Yes, in the right hands the Mirage 2000 is good......

Listen - they have always been hyper nationalist juveniles at IDRW and DFIers and so on.

It is a certain part of Indian society that has no concept of humble pie.

On the other hand - while PDF has NO SHORTAGE of similar characters it does also have extreme critical (and admittedly jaded in my case) types as well which YOU WILL RARELY EVER FIND in Indian forum simply because those types are plentiful in India but they are of more successful bred kind unlike Pakistan where the military (and those interested in it) come from a much wider and more common net.

It is likely that compared to India some 18-22% of Pakistan’s population has some connection with the military - family, friends , business etc etc versus India which barely would have 5% just because the military there is an institution and in Pakistan it is THE institution.

So the internet net in India either includes true professional or personal interest or underachieving variety who much like the spread of religious extremism find it as a tough guy outlet.

Given Pakistan’s deeply entrenched military culture and its stronger emotional pull in society if we say 75/25 split between “regular” individuals and the nutjobs then Indian military forums have 65/35 split.

Hence the issue of quality there versus here.

Just an observation after Swift Retort on every Indian defence related electronic or print media story or program or film on nationalists subject PAF has successfully occupying space. Before Swift Retort ISI used to be this type of THE VILLAIN for Indian Nation.

PAF must feel proud on this ....

If Hindustan dared to fire 120 cruise missiles on Pakistan as a declaration of war. Pakistan will respond with a minimum of at least 120 cruise missiles.

There's no doubt, China will not sit on the sides and eat popcorns. Expect an immediate and a much bigger response from them too.

That's the new reality.

Its a defence forum, so it's to be expected? we were simulating a wargame with 2 teams on the old PDF.

The Next Skirmish will be of Longer Duration and will involve Multiple Strike packages

A short and small skirmish is of No use to India
When is the expected date of this misadventure? It's already been nearly 6-years since Hindustan last received a beating from Pakistan.
