Vance: America hasn't won a single war in the last 40 years

"If you think about all those bipartisan, mass votes, we have to ask ourselves, what did they get us? We got a country that has fought a lot of wars in the last 40 years, but we haven't won a single war," Vance said.
He said Hegseth's primary task would be to "fix the problems at the Department of Defense," which includes increasing the number of recruits and fixing the incredibly weak weapons procurement process.

"If you look at where we are with the rise of artificial intelligence, with the rise of drone technology and drone warfare, we really have to, from top to bottom, change the way we fund weapons acquisition, the way we arm our soldiers," Vance said.

Now, she should start winning for losing might become a habit...

No wonder President Trump wants to start with the low hanging fruits. From the degree of plausibility (most to least): the Panama Canal, Greenland, Canada etc....

If the British King has still something to say about Canada he better have his sorry mouth sealed.....

What nonsense is this guy talking? The USSR won the WW2, so the Americans have not won a war since before the WW2.

USA wins destroying things.

Destroy Libya and Iraq was useful to decrease internal oil consumption and liberate oil for exports.

That moron doesnt understand how its own country works.

USA politicians are a bunch of clowns and bankers shoeshiners.

He was wrong.

At least the U.S. defeated Dominica(1965), Grenada(1983), Panama(1989), Haiti(1994).

Let's put it this way, after the Korean War, the US refused to go to war with any country ranked in the top 10 in terms of national power.

I will agree with this to the extent that yes, the MIC won big time. Wars are good for business.

Vice President Vance was a Marine who went to Iraq. I assure you he knew at the time he was hamstrung on what he could and could not do. The same with SecDef Hegseth. And newly elected Senator from my state Ruben Gallego.

Iraq 1991 was a victory. I don’t know why it’s fashionable to hate on the Americans. Iraq 2003 was also a victory. Enough of this stupid mindset that they can’t win wars. If they haven’t won a war in 40 years, then why is most of the world afraid of going to war with them?

He was a PR officer stuck behind a desk...That fat fcuk wouldn't have even survived a day in the field even against unarmed women and children.

"Victory" is a loose term that gets tossed about a lot. Sure, we, along with the rest of the coalition, came out victorious in Gulf War 1. But, as I told my friends then, we didn't finish the job. We'd be going back. Got my hands slapped bigly for saying that but 12 years later? I was right. Remember "Mission Accomplished"? My ass........

We can win alright. Just quit profiting off the backs of the American fighting man and woman. And don't hamstring them.

He would have survived just fine. Don't delude yourself regarding the capabilities of the US fighting man and woman regardless their MOS. Especially a Marine. Remember, "every Maine a rifleman".

I know a couple JAG officers who regularly went out on combat patrols. They weren't out there to referee. They were out there to fight. I could go on but why. You have your opinion. Your entitled to it. Anything I offer to counter that opinion clearly isn't going to change your mind.

Yeah and then their soldiers come back as quadruple amputees, good these imperialist bastards got their punishment:

Why go to war? why not mind your business and let the world mind theirs ?

Because AIPAC has a stranglehold around the balls of every member of Congress and possess blackmail material through MOSSAD agents to out them. They therefore have to be good goys and follow Israels orders to war.
