that’s understandable.
Ukraine army has NATO weapons. Ukraine army is trained by the western armies.
the russians still stick to Soviet tactic. most weapons came from Soviet stocks.
the russians gain ground because Putin cares of little to nothing about life of russian soldiers. he sends them to death just to gain few meters from Ukraine. for Putin if 1 million russians die or 10 million it’s just a number.

Russia may be doing everything for its own selfish ends, but it's a powerful country that the U.S and west can't defeat
It's better for the world that Russia and the west slam into each other and leave the rest of the world alone
A couple of million Ukrainians and Russians are dead, that's a good thing for the world
Russia taking territory and forcing the west to spend billions helps the world
Western and especially American hegemony has become a threat to the world and the world needs Russia to win
