Bangladesh Socio-Political Crisis 2024 and onwards

From the status of former army chief Iqbal Karim Bhuiyan, I learned how the current government was formed, who were the master planners behind it.
Since Hasina's fall, we have never received an answer to a question that who elected the advisors to this caretaker government!
From the status of IKB, I learned that the then DGFI (who was appointed by Hasina and nominated by neighboring countries), when Hasina's fall was confirmed, called Asif Nuzrul and asked him to become the head of the government!
We know what happened after that, there is no need to repeat it again.
Basically, by giving two student representatives the position of advisors, the first breakdown in the steel-like unity among the students was revealed (Perfect Detective Plan).
Consider that if students had formed a council with two representatives from universities across the country and appointed advisors, then Farooqui, Bri Shakhawat, Rizwana, Asif Nazrul and those who benefited from the previous government would not have been able to become advisors.
Since advisors have been appointed by the DGFI, people have been appointed who cannot judge the previous government with any dynamic decision. They do not have the guts, as Mahmudur Rahman has.
The biggest example of this is the decision not to investigate the BDR killings.
The 200 million people of Bangladesh had only one demand, if nothing else, to know the names of the real culprits of the BDR killings that crippled Bangladesh, and to prosecute them severely.
But that demand for life was the first to be attacked and told, there is no need for an investigation!
Although it was changed later to save face, I think it will not be allowed to go too far.
Another decision was taken to bring the students who participated in the July Revolution to justice.
What was decided later is not a big deal, what matters is why and who took these decisions!
Since the friends of the fallen government had appointed advisors, they were able to take such decisions.
How was Dr. Yunus appointed as the chief advisor?!
Dr. Yunus' name comes to the fore in the context of the demand of two student advisors, otherwise Asif Nuzrul would have been the chief advisor.
So it turns out that except for Dr. Yunus, everyone else is a DGFI-nominated advisor.
The DGFI that gave permission to kill the people of the country with snipers from other countries, who were brought to different places by Bangladesh Air Force helicopters (there is a video) formed this caretaker government!
And that is exactly why all the ministers, MPs, leaders, bureaucrats, and thieving scoundrels of the fallen government found shelter in the cantonment, and many are still receiving VIP treatment.
Basically, because of this Awami League-nominated DGFI, no leader, MP, or minister has been tried for corruption yet, the police have become inactive, the bureaucrats themselves have gone into holiday mode, and they have been secretly laundering their earned money.
Even big and famous scoundrels and journalists have been able to withdraw hundreds of crores of taka from their accounts in the last three months.
Awami at the district and upazila levels has not been defeated by any terrorist public.
Although the members of that DGFI are no more, they have allowed all the looted property to be laundered, and in order to prevent Hasina's lespensers from facing trial, they have created a situation in which they will never have to serve jail time.
Now you understand why this government is facing a dead end due to the non-cooperation of corrupt party pandas called bureaucrats and judges.
Now it can be said for sure that nothing will happen until the next election, no reform plan will be implemented, or will not be allowed to happen.
The next election will be with the money of Awami looters.
They will not vote for themselves, but will spend their thousands of crores of taka on the BNP or Jamaat MPs in their areas.
And all these scoundrels will not judge any of the fallen Awami who won with Awami money, on the contrary, they will obstruct the trial.
That is why the political parties want quick elections.
The sooner the elections are held, the sooner they will be able to get out of the hole and win the thousands of crores of taka they have earned.
Although I had doubts at first, now I am completely sure that the mass uprising has been hijacked.
The golden opportunity to build a new country was hijacked before Hasina fell with the silent support of the puppet advisors nominated by the previous DGFI and the recently retired generals.
If they really want to build a new civilized corruption-free Bangladesh, they will have to form a revolutionary council with one student and one female representative from the top universities and some major private universities across the country.
They will expel all the current advisors except Dr. Yunus.
Then they will conduct an examination and appoint advisors who will run the country for the next two years.
There will be no elections for the next two years until all the looting bureaucrats, third-class judges, dishonest and corrupt police officers of every ministry are brought to justice.
If you cannot do this, remember, whether you ban the Awami League or not, the next election will be held with their money.
They will play in which area who will be the MP of BNP or Jamaat.
As a result, even if they are not in power, they will control power from across the border or this side, their justice is far away!

You claim this and that as the “demand of 200 million people”.

How do you know this?

Did you speak to all of them?

Mob justice gives temporary pleasure. We need actual rapid action from the judicial system.

Look at the Syrians, they already executed 35 of Assad loyalists.

Problem is Dr. Yunus doesn't own the revolution and he is moving too slow. 6 month pass by yet no one has been punished. People are loosing patience.

you have to hit the iron when it's hot.

Some BNP wala should take notice and be very careful before opening their mouths. You do not want to face people's wrath.

Bangladeshi protesters destroy ex-PM’s family home symbolising independence

Property from which Sheikh Hasina’s father declared break from Pakistan attacked due to link with authoritarianism

Thousands of protesters in Bangladesh have taken out their anger at exiled former prime minister Sheikh Hasina by destroying a family home that came to symbolise the country’s independence – and now, they say, the authoritarianism they believe she stood for.

The attack was sparked by a speech that Hasina gave to supporters from exile in neighbouring India, where she fled last year during a deadly student-led uprising against her 15-year rule. Critics had accused her of suppressing dissent.

The house in the capital, Dhaka, had been home to Hasina’s late father and Bangladesh’s independence leader, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who declared the country’s formal break from Pakistan there in 1971. He was assassinated in the property in 1975. Hasina later turned the home into a museum.

Since she fled the country, some of her supporters have tried to gather there but have been attacked by Hasina’s critics, who have targeted other symbols of her government and party since the uprising, ransacking and setting fires in several buildings.

On Wednesday, some protesters threatened to “bulldoze” the building if the former prime minister went ahead with her speech, which marked the start of a month-long protest programme by her Awami League political party. The party is trying to gain support amid allegations of attacks on its members and other Hasina backers.

As Hasina began speaking, protesters stormed the house and started dismantling the brick walls, later bringing a crane and an excavator to demolish the building.

“They do not have the power to destroy the country’s independence with bulldozers. They may destroy a building, but they won’t be able to erase the history,” Hasina said in response during her speech, even as the demolition continued.

She also called on the people of Bangladesh to resist the country’s new leaders and alleged that they took power by “unconstitutional” means.

Hasnat Abdullah, a student leader, had warned media outlets against Hasina’s speech and announced on Facebook: “Tonight Bangladesh will be freed from the pilgrimage site of fascism.”

Many of the protesters chanted slogans demanding Hasina’s execution for hundreds of deaths during last year’s uprising against her. The uprising was among the country’s worst unrest since independence. Hasina urged a UN investigation into the deaths.

They also chanted slogans criticising India. An interim government in Bangladesh led by Nobel peace laureate Muhammad Yunus has sought Hasina’s extradition but India has not responded.

The country’s leading English-language publication, the Daily Star, reported early on Thursday that a wave of attacks overnight targeted several houses and businesses belonging to Hasina’s Awami League supporters.

The interim government, which has been struggling to maintain order and prevent mob justice against Hasina’s supporters, has accused the former prime minister of widespread corruption and human rights abuses during her rule, which began in 2009.

Hasina’s Awami League in turn has accused the Yunus-led government of violating human rights and suppressing Bangladesh’s minority groups, which authorities have denied.

While New York-based Human Rights Watch has hailed the interim government’s reforms measures, it cited “a disturbing pattern of security force abuses” that has reemerged after Hasina’s ousting, this time targeting Awami League supporters, including journalists.

In a report last month, the group said that police are again arbitrarily detaining people and filing mass criminal complaints against unnamed individuals, which allows the police to intimidate and threaten virtually anyone with arrest.

My hometown sylhet, revolutionaries have had demolished all status of Mujib.
The Quran's attack is all against the statues, idols etc. A Muslim's statue is the good work - like schools, orphanages, mosques etc. - he/she leaves behind....

How come in the land of Hazret-i Shah Jalal (RA) and 300+ Aulia, whose stature is equivalent to that of the Prophets from the Beni Israil as per Hadis-i Sherif, they erect statues? Who gives them this audacity?

Even Gen Tikka Khan and the Pak military didn't show this much rage against BAL, Mujib, Sheikh family etc....
