Honestly, i don't believe it until we see it.

This is a massive change potentially a restructuring of post 1945 Europe.

I read reports that they want to pull 100,000 troops out of Europe. Which would fundamentally change the dynamics of the continent.

Now, the European folks would understand the value of Turkey, but it may be too late...

By the by, the Turkish military industrial complex is the most prepared for this new gen of smart asymmetric warfare being intelligently waged by robotic means. You lack it, and you lose a generation of young males...

We are going back to the Roman empire, wher the Emperror will chose the Ceasar. West and East Roman Empire, they are going make prisoners blind or cut ther nose, ear and tong. :p

Believe me China is getting stronger thats a no for America.

If he does this, and compromises security that much, then he can't expect Europe to assist(even politically) with his "China" strategy. Europe will stand by the sidelines and will not support the USA at all.

Dont get me wrong, the EU lot should really pull out their fingers and spend the required 2% on defence like the UK does but this approach, if true, is going to an extreme.

Oh the "Euro Pivot" against China is dead. lol

Hell at this point, some diplomats are looking at the Trump administration/US as an adversary trying to destabilize them than a partner.

there is a wave coming and with it, possibly a war.

Thankfully the UK general elections aren't until 2029, assuming Starmer isn't toppled or new elections aren't called.

Reform is polling Higher than both Labor and the Tories.

Everyone is glued to the elections in Germany in a next week, depending on how that goes, we might be seeing essentially a collapse of the world we have known since 1991, perhaps even 1945.

Trump is further accelarating the demise of American power and influence by alienating countries that once could be relied on as friends. Trump will do a real number on the USA for sure and leave it worse than he found the USA.
