The whole Punjabi being rude thing I have come cross many times. I have no Punjab roots but I was always intrigued as to why this was the case. I often ask people from Rawalpindi, Lahore and other areas why they don't teach their ancestral tongue to to their kids and get the whole 'Punjabi is rude and Urdu is refined'. I then tell them that Urdu is a language of India with it's roots firmly there. They then get offended and call it 100% Pakistani our founders spoke it, but then a few references just keeps them quiet. It was a shocking fact that 3-5% of Pakistan spoke it at the time of partition.

I also notice this whole trend of Urdu mixed with Americanised English which is cringy.

Seen a good number of new converts from Indian Punjab. I was surprised, as they even have their own churches here in the UK!
The Sikhs have mobilised against this, but don't seem to have a state wide strategy.

They'll pay a huge price for this and now evangelicals have invaded east Punjab and brainwashing a lot of people.
