Attack on Jaffer Express

Except when it doesn't

Stupid post and you are in pink

When was the last time internet was blocked in Kashmir?

The most significant recent internet shutdown in Jammu and Kashmir began on August 5, 2019, coinciding with the revocation of Article 370. Restoration of services started on January 25, 2020.

Today, Kashmir has full access to high-speed internet, thriving businesses, modern infrastructure, and a booming tourism industry. Life moves on, and development continues.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Balochistan crisis is far more severe and permanent. The region suffers from a full-blown insurgency, mass enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, and widespread human rights abuses. The Pakistani state barely controls large parts of the province, where the military fights a never ending battle against separatist groups. Forget internet issues, basic governance, law, and order are absent in many areas.

So instead of obsessing over Kashmir, a region that is moving forward, maybe it’s time to take a hard look at Balochistan, where Pakistan is failing catastrophically.

Maybe focus on Balochistan crisis instead of obsessing over Kashmir.

Any tourist can freely visit Kashmir, it's a top travel destination for Indians. Can you say the same for Balochistan, where even a train ride isn’t safe?

In Kashmir, we have functioning government offices, panchayats, revenue departments, and public services like any other Indian state. Meanwhile, Balochistan is still dominated by a feudal Sardar system with little real governance.

Kashmir has widespread internet, telecom access, modern multiplex cinemas, and growing infrastructure. Can Balochistan claim the same?

India has managed to integrate Kashmir successfully with governance, development, and security. Pakistan, meanwhile, has a full blown insurgency in Balochistan that it can’t contain. Maybe that’s the bigger problem here.

Anyway, I doubt this post will last long, doesn’t fit the narrative mods prefer.

Kashmiri hate India, I'm on numerous Kashmiri forums

It's a RELIGIOUS issue, do you think they have forgotten babri or a blind to attacks on Mosques or Indian Muslims or hindutva extremism in India??? Their is massive and overwhelming hatred for India because of the Hindus there

It's something Indian Muslims themselves have woken up to now

The religious enmity is very very deep

@RescueRanger

It sounds like you're noticing a shift in the conversation, with some members bringing up Kashmir even though it's off-topic. If it's happening deliberately, it could be an attempt to vent frustrations .

People are looking for updates on the original topic, not this useless kashmir things

There is seperate thread available for kashmir if not wrong.

let's not derail this thread, can discuss later on different thread..

Back to the original topic...

I am a Kashmiri - you Indians are the ones obsessed with associating yourselves with us on the basis of rishi ketchup myths, fair skin and whatnot.

It was foolish of Pakistan to assume that by reducing support for Kashmiri operations against Indian military targets, India would cease support for terrorism against Pakistani civilians.

You heard ISPR’s words - the rules of the game have changed. The path to peace in Balocistan lies through re igniting Kashmir.

Occupied Kashmir is a union territory with no rights, much less that of a state, your collaborator dog Omar Abdullah recently got grilled on BBC over this matter.
Meanwhile, Balochistan is still dominated by a feudal Sardar system with little real governance.

Kashmir has widespread internet, telecom access,
Yet Kashmir has faced the most internet shutdowns and censorship in human history
modern multiplex cinemas, and growing infrastructure. Can Balochistan claim the same?
The cinemas which the Indian Army uses to torture civilians?

India has managed to integrate Kashmir successfully with governance, development, and security.
No it hasn’t. Indian control of Kashmir is merely through brute occupational force.

If you demilitarized the greater Kashmir region, the Pakistani side will remain loyal to Pakistan, while the Indian held side will immensely raise AJK and Pakistani flags.

Even the British had used less force to control India.
Pakistan, meanwhile, has a full blown insurgency in Balochistan that it can’t contain. Maybe that’s the bigger problem here.
Pakistan doesn’t even try to contain Balochistan and just lets the province devolve into tribal controlled anarchy , in contrast to India’s direct control of Kashmir though New Delhi enforced by military power.

Yet, polls show that the majority of Baloch support Pakistan, while you would be hard pressed to find even 1% of Kashmiris favor India post 2019.
Anyway, I doubt this post will last long, doesn’t fit the narrative mods prefer.
Don’t worry, your Indian mods will swiftly remove any posts with scholarly sources opposing their state sponsored narrative

agree.

with 100s soldiers being captured.... I am sure they are in good hands

There are enough women in the country who will give birth in the coming decades to maintain the supply of fresh bodies. A couple dead here and there with jazba in heart wouldn't dent the army.

It's what happens when you maintain a sub-par-level population by the will of Allah (swt).

not the first time bro, sindhis and pashtuns have been targeted several times prior.
Pashtuns although local have had a history but Sindhis have had very cordial past. Just shows they’re not “Baloch” insurgents but simply terrorists.
