Attack on Jaffer Express

But that doesn't mean we can't be honest with each other. Sometimes difficult topics need to be discussed.

We all know what's at stake with the threat of India and their hinduvita on the Muslims of the subcontinent.

You should know there is socio economic aspect of it bigger aspect is the lack of state narrative and goals. Like people be shouting anti Pakistan stuff in universities but it's let there to fester. Get rid of social and ethno nationalist so called intellectuals like China.

I agree with you. For Pakistan to successfully counter the Hindutva threat, it must present a fully united front. The reality is that we are already at a significant disadvantage compared to India on almost every metric; economic, military, and diplomatic.

But how can we hope to face India when our own society is deeply fractured? The establishment's policies, which vilify entire communities like the Pashtuns and Baloch as traitors, are only worsening the divisions. Have you seen how Pashtuns are treated by the Punjab Police in Punjab? Such systemic discrimination only weakens our national fabric.

If we are to survive and more importantly, thrive; the establishment needs to take a step back and allow the organic democratic process to flourish. When all ethnic and regional groups feel genuinely represented and heard, do you think groups like the BLA, TTP, and others would have the space to operate? They wouldn’t. A weak national narrative is what gives them room to thrive.

The Jaffer Express hijacking should serve as our 9/11 moment, a wakeup call for deep introspection. The solution to these challenges isn’t purely military; it requires a combination of political reconciliation and targeted military operations. I feel like a broken record saying this, but it’s crucial to drive this point home: unity, inclusivity, and a strong democratic process are the only ways forward.

A good recap and analysis. It might be very much the "Pearl Harbor" moment for Pakistan, and the "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve" moment for Bharat's very own "Bibhishan's" aka the Last Afgan, TTP, BLA etc....

A sleeping giant? Resolve? I mean, seriously, where do you come up with these lines? That's like a broke man getting up and telling the missus he will purchase a Benz, because his resolve has increased. How do you expect to fix the situation without resolving the underlying issues plaguing Baluchistan for decades? It's what @Oscar and other seniors have been trying to preach but it's flying over the majority's heads.

Anyway, I'm about to get up off this chair with great resolve to open my fast in 10 minutes.

Acha, Indian Media aur uunkay View attachment 107765 Defence Analyst aisay ees incident ko discuss kar rahay hain (Ground Reality) jaisay kay uunki amma ka ghar pahaar par hai.

Obviously..., the obsession with Pakistan is extreme & even the Indian Members know that. And if they don't well...[choro]

Let me just give my view because pretty much every one knows which side I usually take.

This is the Thumbnail for my most recent video on YouTube.

1. Innocent Pakistanis were targetted based on their background.
2. Off-Duty Military Personnel travelling with families were taken away & killed.
3. I don't recall any Political Party going to Baluchistan to stand by the people of that Province. Not even the Interior Minister.
4. PTI walley apna rona ro rahay thay. Govt walley PTI ko blame kar rahay thay. Business as usual.
5. Its the Military that went in and got the job done.

And there are Pakistanis that actually were impressed how these f#*kin' fags funded by our enemies operated.

I fail to understand how the Military/ISI were to know that this incident could have been avoided.

What, they want a F-16/JF-17/J-10 to flyover every train (for cover) from now on.

Perhaps each train could have 200 Army jawans or even a Tank.

What b.s. !!!

Guerilla Warfare can't be won. Just ask the Americans ...

(Sadly) we lost innocent people. We didn't give into their demands, warna kal koi muceebat hum par musulat hoti.

ALL & I mean ALL Political Parties are fags. Yes, all of them.

Hate COAS & the upper brass all you want. That is your opinion. But its our soldiers with the help of the PAF that got the job done. Not some political Leader(s).

Well said and those 5 points perfectly summed it. And just to add that you could sense some people were actually hoping for it to be a blood bath so that they could continue the "laashon ki siyaasat". The doomer narratives were going into over drive. To be clear, I don't like some of the upper brass either, but I will always back my forces to the hilt in a crises. Hats off to the boys from all branches of armed forces who conducted a highly complex operation with utmost precision and professionalism.

It makes me wonder though - what if our boys had failed? What if the explosives went off despite their best efforts, and hundreds got killed? In war, such failures do happen. What would have been the reaction of the social media warriors? Instead of unifying the nation, they would have made a mockery of the situation and promoted further divisions to suit their self centered narratives.

In contrast, look at India. They even spin their total failures as successes. Abhinandan got shot down, beaten up by simple villagers. A huge humiliation for India on the world stage. Did anyone see a single Indian making jokes about it? Did anyone see a single Indian reacting with a laugh emoji? They even shot down their own chopper with a Spyder missile - such gross incompetence. But had it been Pakistan, surely we would have seen 1000s of social media warriors saying the soldiers are drunkards, right? India's then CJC General Bipin Rawat was a highly politicized officer, handpicked by BJP for his loyalty. But I didn't see any single comment about whether he had the merit to hold his position. That's because the Indians have learnt to back their forces in a crises, no matter what. There's plenty of time for political debates later.

Lastly, I don't want to anyone on this forum to take this as a condemnation. You are all patriotic Pakistanis, and having these honest discussions is the sign of a great nation. But there is a time and place for it. I am only writing this because I see the enemy united. Whereas it should be the other way round.

Bro that laal topi is a nutcase. @RescueRanger bhai has told about him in detail in this same thread. Ye bnda Sheikh Chilli hay Pakistan ka.

Just to answer this question since no one else has. The 440 number is derived from "ticket bookings" sure 440 booked tickets but not necessarily 440 people will have travelled or boarded the train.

This was a very fast moving incident, more clarity will come out regarding the final figures of passengers, casualties etc in the coming days.

I am still flabbergasted that people are dismissing on Social Media and especially here on PDF, just how complex and difficult this Rescue Operation was and how well the Pakistan Army and Security forces executed their duty to eliminate terrorists and save innocent lives.

---
No sorry. Not impressed by this rescue operation one bit, and I will not cheer this 'victory' in any way.

An army that trains and exercises world over having a good budget for a third world country, and I'm supposed to celebrate that we beat some baloch who were probably flash trained in Iran.

I'll praise it if such incidents never happen in the first place.

I've not been keeping up fully with the events of this terrorist attack. What is the latest? Have the hostages been freed?

What's your evidence they were trained in Iran when all roads lead to Afghanistan including telephone calls traced?

Your irrational shiah hatred is not "evidence".

Idiot I am a shia myself lol. There are people in my family who can speak Persian.

A good chunk of 'greater' Balochistan lies in Iran. I don't buy the Afghanistan part.

There are probably safe havens in Iran but command and control is in Afg.

Go for these and they will be choked out.
