Of course WE know that, but the anti American crowd can’t seem to wrap their heads around it. Now that the President has announced it flanked by SecDef and Air Force Chief, that should end all debate.

Unfortunately - it’s always blanket declaration. Boeing has issues - bean counters have effed it up bad. But that doesn’t mean all of Boeing divisions have the same problems - nor that certain programs didn’t achieve anything.

The President confirmed what many here refused to believe. That F-47 has been flying for 5 years.

All the usual suspects in shambles right now.

It has been five years since the test flight, but the actual aircraft has not been demonstrated yet. Here is a PPT picture.

Boeing has had great success with their F-15 and F-18 lines. That division of Boeing is perfectly capable to execute this program, and the fact it’s been flying for 5 years, just supports that.

The wumao hate in here is delicious. Their panic tells me they were hoping the pause by USAF was permanent and now they find out it has been flying for 5 years and is a mach 2+ fighter which the the J-36 isn't.


LM is going to be busy for decades with F-35 and NG with B-21 so I'm glad Boeing got their sht together and was able to pull this off. So the haters know Boeing won but they can also ask LM and NG folks for assistance.

Lockheed will be fine, they still have years of F-35 production, and Skunk Works is working on a classified program thought to be SR-72 related.
