My assume is that they will first repair Meng airbase in north and establish first circle for denying air intrusion in that area and under that cover they will gradually expand this into other bases to form full networked umbrella, it take some time and hardware resources that i am not sure if turks have in prompt disposition. Especially AD assets and it is questionable how many air fighter they can afford for such tasks.

Unless turkey puts massive amounts of their own soldiers to prevent such attacks in the future israel will keep bombing said bases I would prefer turkey sending 20 30 thousand troops to the buffer zone golan heights and see if Israel decides to roll back from the buffer zone otherwise building bases and putting military hardware in the hands of people with no actual training in such weapons is pointless it would take a decade or longer to build up even a decent military in Syria.

I’m not saying for those soldiers to go to war I’m saying have those troops there with mobile air defenses artillery as a show of force if Israel attempts even a token response of bombing let’s see what turkey does compared to Iran they can actually hit Israel a lot easier with massive amounts of air power. You would still need thousands of Turkish soldiers to prevent constant bombings they never took Iran or its proxies seriously and at their height from what reports say they had between 100 to 200 thousand men from all over the world you would have to send thousands of troops in and around whatever bases or wherever they planned to put weapons to to have Israel second guess bombing said sites and if they do and turkey suffers losses what would turkey do as a country invited by the current leadership of Syria

Again how do you equip 200 or 300 thousand men in the future if your neighboring country doesn’t want you too and there are no real consequences for them to worry about in Syria hts has mostly just crude artillery and old armored vehicles no air defenses no Air Force no nothing to prevent Israel it bomb them from the sky they are out in the open in bases and police stations, they’re not spread out like they were they’re easier targets. Hezbollah made that mistake they became so powerful that they didn’t even start hiding their bases or positions or their faces Israel is collecting a list for the future I guarantee that

Honestly nothing really special about that hit a runway some buildings that can be replaced quickly like when they used to attack said bases when Iran and Syrian forces were stationed there I only would ask what turkey would do if it resulted in Turkish death

personally I doubt turkey plans to send any serious weapons to syria at all so I think this is all based on false assumptions

I do agree Turkey is better placed to do so than Iran was given Turkey's proximity and superior air force

Yeah I believe turkey would send weapons but advanced systems aren’t coming tomorrow to Syria these guys are used to handing Cold War relics like grads not bora missile systems zsu anti aircraft systems not pantsyr systems and so on would take years to build up Syrias military.
Definitely think they would commit to a long term presence but more for keeping the Kurd population in check than testing Israel at least in the short term.
