Kane Williamson added another milestone to his illustrious career, becoming the fourth-fastest batter to reach 19,000 international runs.

He achieved this feat during New Zealand’s Champions Trophy semi-final against South Africa in Lahore. The veteran right-hander reached the landmark in the 20th over with a single off Marco Jansen.

Williamson achieved the feat in 440 innings, trailing only Virat Kohli (399), Sachin Tendulkar (432), and Brian Lara (433). He is now the 16th player overall and the first New Zealander to reach the mark.

The former Kiwi skipper continued his fine form, bringing up his 48th ODI half-century off 62 balls while forging a century stand with Rachin Ravindra for the second wicket.

The ongoing match is Williamson’s 384th for New Zealand, where he has been the backbone of their batting since his debut in 2010. Across formats, he has amassed 9,276 Test runs at an average of 54.88, over 7,100 ODI runs at 49.11, and more than 2,500 T20I runs at a strike rate of 123.08.

Among New Zealand batters, Williamson now leads the all-time run charts, surpassing Ross Taylor (18,199) and Stephen Fleming (15,289).

On topic- I really hope innocent people are not hurt. I don't know how many of posters have experienced the death of of someone who is near dear.
It's devastating.
What is really bothering is the fact that a portion of a country which makes up for around half of it is being neglected.
And here I am always up in arms because GOI was late in Manipur,a small peripheral state. Could this happen in pnjab/UP/Haryana/Bihar etc or Pakistani punjab?
Why did it happen?
THINK......
@RescueRanger
I rarely post nowadays. Perhaps I was harsh,but what I wrote was the truth,and I am sure you know it in your heart
