There's no shortcut in aviation, main hurdle for China is to develop suitable engines for wide body airliner

They still at least 5 to 10 year behind in the high bypass ratio engine development fields from western countries

they will just buy IP or some other JV for engine from west if required, it is not hurdle for them even for west is better to participate then obstructing them like in semiconducter industry which backfired badly.

I'd argue that Boeing has gone out of its way to destroy that trust. It's newer models are explicity not safe to travel in, due to cost cutting and profiteering. When they put accountants in charge of the company, instead of actual engineers, they essentially destroyed the company's reputation.

There's a reason why Boeing is facing so many financial issues due to canceled orders. I wouldn't be surprised if they just outright cancel making new models, and just stick to building their flagship legacy models, and concentrate on their military contracts via the F-47 sixth generation fighter program for the navy and air force.

Yeah first let this 919 complete 1 or 2 decades in countries like China, North Korea, Niger, Congo, Bolivia, Columbia.....

Even after this it's clester clear that it won't have any place in Indian Civil aviation like Boeing or airbus but who knows we might have to take a flight if in future we could visit countries I mentioned above..... so better to wait before boarding.....

China itself accounts for 20% of the global aviation market, this share is enough to keep C 919's hands full for at least one to two decades, India is never its priority.
