operation eagle claw. back then iran had no radars, it's not comparable or realistic to repeat that scenario in 2025 in my opinion

A problem of this type is not even infiltration, but exfiltration, any infiltration of this nature for this purpose would have to have a plan for withdrawal, even in case of failure, this would be very difficult to do even if Iran did not have any border surveillance sensors or radars.

Just as Iran has sleeper agents in the US and thousands in Israel, there are US spec ops and agents in Iran. Vezarat-Etelat may know about some or a lot of them, but by virtue of having been in a cold war with the US and Israel for decades, infiltration is not even a question. They likely have exit strategies, contacts among minority groups and opposition, Azerbaijanis, KRG, and Arabs, and they can go in, do a job, and leave. This is if we are talking sabotage. Consider how throughout Iran quadcopters were launched, some even near nuclear facilities. It was just a warning from Israel, when the gloves are off consider that moles in the IRGC may sabotage missile bases themselves. Just as Iran had planned things for 40 years, the US and Israel did not sleep either. And consider how easily and quickly (in 4-5 days) Hezbollah was completely neutralized. Nasrallah's reaction to the pager attacks showed that he had absolutely no clue. This was how they handled Hezbollah, a militia with at most 25,000 fighters. Imagine what they can do to the head of the snake. Keep in mind Iran has regular attempted color revolutions. 2009, WLF, student uprisings. These are not done without CIA and Mossad involvement and there are many Iranians so dissatisfied and in need of money that they would gladly make this deal- just look at how many insiders they had in Hezbollah and Hamas.

I don't think they need to send squads of Spec Ops via chopper or boat. I think they have enough assets in Iran and within Iran's military already to do a lot of damage.

Radars are a non-factor in 2025. See my previous post. MOIS/VAVAK is nowhere near as competent as Mossad or CIA.

The only risk of capture some members of the commando squads would create a big trouble for US. For that reason Israel from many years ago has the non public "Hannibal" protocol. Sometimes it is preferably just to let them die in combat that let them play with them like poker.

B-2s are complete overkill for Houthis. Trump is not that wasteful. These are for nuclear sites in Iran or posturing to Iran for a "deal".

I think they want to deploy heavy Bunker Busters/MOABs, and B2 is the only that can do it in contested airspace. B52 cannot cut it.

Looks like they want to go after the underground facilities, or have a go at them for sure.

we are talking about a country that used MOAB on Afghanistan. Yemen has missiles stored deep underground and the US needs to use large bunker busters to reach them

plus we have the leaked messages from the US showing this is precisely to establish deterrence, not to go to war with Iran

US cannot fly B-2s over Iran without a prolonged SEAD/DEAD campaign of many months first

Yemen's missiles and drones have a grand total of 0 US casualties. Have they killed an Israeli yet? The Moab used in Afghanistan was for a serious threat to American forces.

Don't believe everything the US 'leaks'.

The Jewish state's mouth is watering at a chance to destroy Iranian ads like they claim to have done. Unlike Iran these mfs give no warnings.

I'm telling you guys that there's NO way in hell that Yankees are stupid enough to fly over Iran with B2, or anything else short of maybe UFOs from their home planet of FUKUSALL, and attempt an attack on Iran. Even the genocidal zionist West, which is ruled by the most ruthless sorts of psychopaths, want to achieve cost beneficial political goals by their actions. The cost of such a military action way outweighs any potential benefits. They are mad but not suicidal.

yes they killed an Israeli in Tel Aviv and injured several more

the MOAB was used purely for show

they cannot use B-2s over Iran, this is for sure for Yemen

The risk that entering or going back a B2 could be shootdown just by a fortune IR missile it is so high that I think those are for Yemen at first instance and for showing to Iran. But the risk it is so high. I agree those are not for Irán.
