We have a huge amount of them too which we will expell and it will swell their numbers more ( Pashtuns ). They always have been the most powerful in Afghanistan. Uzbeks don't care about Tajiks and vice versa and no one cares about Hazaras. Any civil war would end up with the same result.

The US is in a world of hurt bhai......alliances crumbling, economies shattered, egos bruised and relationships tarnished.

Russia despite its laggard military and obsolete tactics and weaponry has mauled Ukraine and inflicted a mortal wound on the western psyche.

Iran is a hard target and difficult to crack and is holding steady.

China too making steady headway.......getting richer every day!

Nobody sees any change to this paradigm any time soon.

Here in Japan people are noticing a weakened and fatigued US desperately trying to curry favor and lift up the sapping morale among its allies n toady.

Why should people let their identity go

My identity is Pakistani. I have never let it go. Even when I am communicating in English.

I do not subscribe to the belief that any language is essential to one's identity. I make a real effort NOT to speak my mother tongue... Pashto... yet everyone has always acknowledged me as a pathan.

Eating baked beans and sausages for breakfast does not make me any less of a Pakistani.

But alot of us have other identities along with being a Pakistani. You cant expect people to let our languages and culture go. It can co-exist with the larger Pakistani identity.
