As of now, yes, the GCC Arab states are not supportive of attacking Iran and thus America is painfully mobilizing via its base in the Indian Ocean. The consequences for the region would be horrible and they all know that.
Power flows from the barrel of gun. That's why I didn't put much faith or focus on ICC, ICJ, Boycott etc etc. What mattered was on the ground action AND a shift in the American public opinion, which had started to happen mainly because of the Progressives and the student protests since this conflict started but, alas, there is virtually no room left for free speech in America since the MAGA fascists took over. Forget the pro Palestinian voices, as they are quite easy to target, especially of immigrant background, even white liberals are now afraid of the muzzling.

Israel is making a statement that the West is under their complete control. They have decided that it is no longer necessary to deny the fact that they completely control the West.
They are using the Palestinians to make a statement that Jews have come a long way from being the helpless victims of the Holocaust.

Gaza is finished as an adversary of Israel for the foreseeable future and the landgrab in the West Bank is on epic proportion now. This conflict is certainly moving to the next stage, which is the Israeli desire to curb Iran. For decades Iran has become a big problem for Israel and, if at all possible, Netanyahu is going to use Trump to curb Iran or even destroy Iran as a potent adversary. So, in that regard, it is important to watch the two schools of thought: Scott Ritter, who is basically asking Iran to comply and lay low at least while Trump is the President and then there are those analysts who are countering Scott Ritter. Very interesting debates going on. And I don't think Scott's arguments are without merits.
But one thing is for sure: Just like leading to the Iraq War in 2003, there is attempt to manufacture the consent in America these days and the drums of the war against Iran are sounding louder and louder...
