Opinion Piece:Tension between China and India: Escalated when China's in trouble. Eased when India's in trouble

Let's not talk competition.... let's talk peace or else these both giants will finish each other..... there will be no winner..... only looser will be Asia....

But if you buy f35?

But if you buy f35?
No we won't buy F35......

Two giants never engage each other just by buying fancy toys....

You will use your delta wing J36 to bomb India and we will use our delta wing Tejas to beat you to pulp.....

You will use Type 15s whereas we will beat you to death with the help of our Zorawar..,.,

Finally both of us are dead and who is the winner? An American.... so let's come to the senses and let the peace prevail......

We can never go for something big ticket like F35 bro.... these days whole nato is seeing the level of trustworthiness of Trump India is just nobody.... I won't be surprised if tomorrow India buys F35 and is at war with China Trump for his own interest will ensure that our F-35 are not not even airborne.....

Very true actually

Kill switch talk

China will use this perfect opportunity to squeeze India's manufacturing base in its infantile phase to death.

It is an one stone two birds opportunity to take down both MAGA and Hindutva regimes in the same time.

The next India regime will certainly become more obedient to China.

This exact arrogance and hegemonism of China do not allow for things to cool off. They don't want partners, they want subjects.

This confirms that opinions really are like a**holes — and further, that some are especially full of crap.

Both India and China are subcontinent sized massive countries.... even if we don't agree on some boundaries Both have enough land..... then why fight and bleed each other?

Both are nuclear powers with delivery systems and have 1 and 2nd largest armies..... it's a a madness for both to engage each other into a war.... China is a powerful country compared to India but imagine how much costly war has become against Russia...... Ukraine doesn't even have Himalaya type natural barrier nor there was a proper navy and airforce but see what war has costed Russia in the form of men and materials.... here we are talking about biggest militaries with nukes and delivery systems.....

Only solution is China has already taken 38k Sq kms in 62 after that we captured sikkim, Arunachal and siachen.... let us now forget and move on.....

Pakistan too is big military with nukes and delivery systems.... you keep Pakistan Azaad Kashmir let us keep iok and move on and for God sake focus to something productive.....

Gladly, Trump will be the one to do the dirty job.

He loves to backstab his so-called "allies", and if you want to capitulate, you will end up being crippled and ripped to death.

Since you have shifted goalpost here's my rebuttal:
  • India is no one's official ally and will not go overtly that way ever.
  • If US has a genuine concern like 150% tariff imposed on beverage, 100% on agricultural products & cars etc. by India, there is no harm in having a relook. If this finally leads to a pathway for FTA, its even better.
  • Of course, no one is happy with the way the Orange Madman is conducting the entire business. But it done. No point in poking the mad king and it's wise to arrive at a just solution so that the world market can calm down. He isn't going anywhere for the next 4 years.
  • India is not at the same economic strength as China. China perhaps can afford to keep poking the Orange King and allow both its markets to tumble, India can't.
