Can't believe the Chinese gov can be so misguided and misjudged about US intention on China. All the Chinese officials and experts of Chinese gov have been sleeping all those years. If they paid attention and monitored what were going on in the US esp about China since Obama's Pivot to Asia, they should had known that US wanted to destroy or at least bring down China. Xi created BRI in response a decade ago in the first place.

Before President Xi has fully extended his control over the CPC, the main dominant faction of the CPC was the Dengists.
The Dengists have always been very pro-US, and most of their families also reside in the US.
Now the hardcore Dengists have almost been fully purged by President Xi, and others have been completely marginalized.

The bubble of the US invulnerability has been pricked during the COVID time.
It already showed how vulnerable the US actually is.
After Biden's tech war and reducing dependency on US export, China is certainly poised to win this trade war round 2.
Trump still tries to use the same tactics against a much stronger China with greater confidence, and he is certainly going to lead the entire US into the abyss.

The next stage in the trade and tech war for China is to ban all rare earth minerals and pharmaceutical raw materials exports to US. US defense and high tech industries have to invent many new revolutionary techs and Americans have to live without drugs, that's actually a good thing for them, haha.
