Turkey does not produce oil, the Oil is Azeri oil being transported, and then bought by 3rd parties who then sell it to Israel. Turkey has no way of stopping that without shutting down the pipeline or all exports anywhere.

It makes zero difference regardless b/c there is an excess of Russian oil being sold on the market, ironically right off the coast of Greece where the ghost tanker fleets are.

Azeri oil exports from Turkey could disappear tomorrow, and it would make 0 difference to Israel, b/c of the nature of elasticity in the global commodity market. As long as Production is the same, and assuming no significant demand change, the oil just gets rerouted. As we have seen with Russian oil now being sold to Asia, and Middle Eastern oil being sold to Asia being rerouted to Europe.

In essence, if the goal is to "Hurt Israel" this doesn't do much, Azeris aren't even reliant on Turkey for export of Oil necessarily as the Oil can be offloaded to ports in Georgia and still be sold to Israel without having to go through a pipeline in Turkey. but it does harm Azeri Turkish relations and Turkish interests in the Caucasus. So this is in essence asking Turkey to cut off its nose, to spite its face. Outside of brownie point with people who don't understand the oil trade, there isn't really much effect here.
