I been to Thailand a few times, those guys are generally some of the most polite soft spoken people anywhere. The cabbies, hotel staff, at restaurants.. always polite and smiling.

A friend once got a bit upset (nothing super nasty) at our cabbie for going the 'wrong way', cabbie kept smiling and 2 min later dropped us to our spot and showed us the road we came from was closed so he had to do a small go around the block.

Compare that to cabbie crooks in Goa for example, where my guy who I last took was telling me how just the other day some rude north Indians were told to gtfo, middle of the road, because he couldn't take their constant arguing about money. Now, cabbies there ARE a mafia like organization, govt. bhi darti hai, huge union, even politicians don't mess with them (votebank).. but everyone knows thats how it is there..

Anyway, theek kara, saalon ko highway beech utar dia and drove off..serves em right, other folks have been outright beaten up by those taxi guys too lmao

lanati people, total dalit mindset, spl northie walas.. and they meet their match down south.

@Paitoo can tell you all about rude auto rick guys in Bangalore.. they don't want northies there.

@Mrloveday was on to something with his constant bitching about us.

The absolute worse was in Bali, we discussed here. Indian family decided to steal room lamps and bathroom light fittings with them.. hotel manager had their bags opened and found that stuff... imagine..
