Indian false flag and current Indo-Pak stand-off updates

Protest fatigue set in to the pro IK movement (basically an anti fauj movement), your fauj already took care of some of the major troublemakers.
Just because you don't have thousands rallying against the fauj doesn't mean the awam loves them.

Nope. Electorally Imran Khan is a big challenge but otherwise things are calm and stabilized. No need for the Pakistani establishment to stir things up with India which could have serious consequences for Pakistan's stabilizing economy. You know: Cost and benefit. Do some analysis on that, please.
However, it suits India to stir things up; as an Indian member here himself said yesterday that India finds this good time to strike because Pakistan is weaker. I appreciate the guy's honesty.

The loss of life is indeed tragic, but yar I am honestly amazed that India is so lax when it comes to security especially when you have an entire department focused on Industrial security (CISF).

No CCTV? I am amazed.

In Pakistan even paan walla's have CCTV these days.
CISF is for airports, railway stations, oil rigs and so on.. CRPF are deployed when there's a breakdown in law and order, like riots proper.

I don't think anyone wants to see militarized nature/tourist spots.

CCTVs aplenty in all cities, big and small, traffic cams too.

Kinda wilderness, this place.. take a khacchar/mule or horse, go picnic.. I'll bet everyone had a mobile with a camera on it, and must be footage but not being released for obvious reasons.

Moeed Pirzada has gone off the deep end.

His hatred for Asim Muneer has blinded him so much, he is practically advocating that this attack was done by Pak military to garner support. He is practically supporting India over Pakistan.

I used to respect him but, now, what a pathetic loser!

He is a despicable character.... more than a decade ago Kerry was having a press conference in Islamabad.....good lord the way he was fawning Infront of him was absolutely cringe .

I have been warning about people like him and other Imrandoos: While most Imran Khan supporters are patriotic, a lot of them unwittingly fell for the Indian strategy to bring down the very state of Pakistan by targeting the Pakistani Army. The target is the same but goals are different!! The propaganda is fully supported by India's agencies with dedicated staff. I can tell fake Muslim names in Comments to You Tube videos and anything positive about Pakistan. Yesterday Al Jazeera, one of the rare non-Pakistani channels which gives voice to Muslims, had a video of Pakistan's Defense Minister Kh. Asif but even on that video Indians swarmed to post similar anti Pakistan comments and 'Liked' such comments.
But then when we have prominent Pakistanis like Moeed and Pakistanis who follow him then why blame the Indians? Indians would do what Indians would do.
That’s a bit of a harsh critique of the Dr. Pirzada. While in wartime, which this basically is, you rally around the flag and behind the team holding up the flag, but there has to be room left to say the vulnerability (not having built up our D.I.M.E. Leverage) the Indians are exploiting has to be closed, because this is isn’t a frontal war of a few weeks, this is a new status quo.

In game theory, this is not a finite conflict, but an infinite conflict.

From now on, Indians have seen to have decided they will work to undermine Pakistan’s development. And if that is the strategy we need a counter strategy. It’s not about one man or another, general or politician, but about husbanding our resources, trimming the graft, and building up our international leverage so we can’t be subjugated under Indian hegemony.

The Doctor just has to strike the right balance, especially during these early days, but in due course, more will come around to his point of view; a lot of the reflection will fall on those in charge, especially the general from a week ago and the defense minister that have talked so callously; loose lips sink ships.

The ship of diplomacy is certainly in rough water. IK was also criticized for his callous comments, so I agree we have an entire class of rulers, on all sides that have made of a mess of the past few years. They have all forgotten Deng Xioping’s maxim; Never claim leadership, bind your time. China learned to stay quiet in the nearly 50 years since that statement, just look at China. Even now they don’t claim leadership, just keep building their leverage. They have a goal of ending their century of humiliation with a century of regaining their dignity by 2049. Developed enough, that regardless of whomever is in charge after 2049, the Chinese people will have regained a status in the comity of nations that they don’t have to fear being subjected to the century of humiliation again. This is not unique to Asian cultures; Britain’s anthem has a phrase “Britons shall never be slaves”. So it’s a universal reason d’tre.

Leverage is the real center of gravity of this conflict.

Whoever said that was a troll.

No need for India to do a 'false flag' as Pak has claimed (and many here believe) either.

If some major elections were just around the corner, we'd have explored that angle some... but out of nowhere, when there had been an extended period of peace. Makes no sense for Modi and co. to have orchestrated this.

Dead on arrival, that conspiracy theory.

What little I've seen of the footage looks like it was out in the great outdoors, green beautiful meadows, lovely view of the mountains.. not a built up urban area at all.

At least the place where the attack took place is nowhere near any infra. Could be you part somewhere and then take a horse or hike down a half hour to reach what would be their final destination.

Becharey regular families etc ko maara, terrible.
If so it means the attackers have excellent intelligence network.
