That’s true. The IWT is what they have been after, and the only real thing Pakistan can do is work with China to build dams inside of Pakistan and ask China to build dams in Tibet to pay India back in kind. Not to be used but to be threatened. If China acts on the rivers into Pakistan, China can act on the rivers such as the Brahmaputra, Sutlej, Ghagara, Gandaki, Koshi and Sharda.

Pakistan needs to calculate how many in India live on these rivers and sent internet traffic (ads) directed there way to make the hint this possible, and that they should press their governments to back down on the IWT.

Furthermore, India’s abrogation of 370 and the change of status on Ladakh has made China more likely to do this. Considering China’s ability to build massive dams, Indians in these areas need to understand these aren’t hollow threats.

Most of the ones on social media are like that. Those in the West are broadly supportive of their government at this time. Some voices of reason, probably more than we know, but they get drowned out.
