Outside of the safety of this forum and some others, Pakistanis are losing the perception war. Pakistan's perception on the world stage is being degraded further by this incident and the response.

What makes you think the Chinese would like to be seen supporting a state like this? Honestly, this is a speedrun into becoming an international pariah and no amount of meming will help.

This incident is getting a neutral or slightly favourable response, if anything

But that's irrelevant

We are in might is right period, soft power public opinion is not the same

And who is even looking much into Pakistan

Incoherent comment

One major point is:
The treaty does not mention anything about suspension, nor does it prohibit suspension.
This appears to be a loophole that India is carefully taking advantage of.
Moreover, senior advocates have pointed out that this situation favors India — even if the matter is challenged, India is unlikely to lose.
Additionally, since India did not sign the Geneva Treaty, there is no binding obligation for India to follow its rules.

You surely dig yourself deeper into the farce! Let's say there is no specific international law that states that a 'country can't nuke another country', would that allow a country to nuke another country?? That's just a raw example of how YOU interpret law.
The IWT was signed after NINE years of intense negotiations which kept in mind the deep mutual distrust and animosity between India and Pakistan and is so strictly worded that not even 'revisions' are allowed unless both parties agree and if they don't agree that then there are levels of arbitration. And here you think that can be 'suspended'. You will surely lose during arbitration but, yes, you may not follow the verdict and who is there to enforce the verdict with the world becoming a jungle.

Killing civilian tourists will result to more than just chest thumping.
[repost] to help lift the lid from your head...

IOK has one of the worlds most militarised zones with a combined personnel count of over 1 Million+ troops.

The Indian Armed Forces in IOK include:
-Indian Army
-Navy
-Airforce
-Special Operations Division
-Central Armed Police Forces
-Border Security Force
-Central Reserve Police Force
-Sashastra Seema Bal
-ITBP
-The Jammu and Kashmir Police have their own special forces unit focued on anti-insurgency labelled the SOG (Special Operations Group).

Indian SF are deployed in the region including Indian Army Paratrooper SF, Indian Navy MARCOS and IAF Garud Commandos. The Indian Navy Special Forces have the unique role of securing the Wular Lake.

The region is a maze of Military and Police Checkposts:

The border with Pakistan is one of the most heavily polices, monitored and the Indian Government has expanded the fencing to such a level that they have erased hectares of farmland in the process:

The region is home to: Northern Command | Headquarters: Udhampur, Jammu & Kashmir. It has three subordinate units or Corps, such as:

- XIV Corps having headquarters at Leh
- XVI Corps having headquarters at Nagrota
- XV Corps having headquarters at Srinagar

Furthermore, seven divisions and one Brigade (10 artillery Brigades) function under the Northern command.

The IAF has a number of Squadrons in the region including:
Leh Squadron - based out of Leh Air Base & Troop Transport Mi17 V5
223 Squadron - AFS Srinagar

Please note the distances (as the crow files from Muzaffarabad to Pahalgam)

169Km - please pay close attention to the terrain.

Right in the heart of Pahalgam rests the camp for 116Bn of the Central Reserve Police Force

Are the Government of India honestly trying to claim that a handful of people in flipflops armed with small arms managed to traverse 169 kilometres deep into one of the most militarised zones in the world, across extremely difficult terrain, bypassing numerous check posts and carry out a terrorist attack right next to the base of the Central Reserve Police Force and escape without being detected?

Rather than point fingers at Pakistan, the Indian people should ask their ministers, their home department, the security forces and intelligence agencies, HOW? HOW DID THIS HAPPEN? Are you so incompetent?

But we all know the truth don't we...

Mostly the media, the worst sansanikhez types been the loudest.

"find and punish" is the least any head of state would do in such a situation.

As to what actually happens, in terms of a military response.. best we wait and see.

Kuch ni karna, or at least I doubt highly.. cross border.

Sweeping/combing operation chal raha hai, lots been picked up for questioning.. this is a wholly internal review at this point/so far.

Hard to say for sure that it escalates, zero idea.

"time and place of our choosing" vi ek cheez hoti ae.

🤷‍♂️

Remind me again how Pakistan is involved in this incident again?

Lets see when they will launch their attack..

Do you think that this time they will use aircraft carriers and destroyers to target Gawadar ?
