This whole scenario seems to have developed suddenly, out of the blue. One thing I find interesting is that, while other countries are led by a single leader, Trump in the US, Netanyahu in Israel, Modi in India, I have no idea who's leading Pakistan. There's some guy sitting in the PM chair, I'm not sure who it is, but he's nowhere to be seen. I saw an interview of the defence minister, a man called Khawaja or something, and he didn't have a clue about what's going on. I think I know more than him.

That leads to the conclusion that it is the COAS, Asim Munir, who's running Pakistan. However, he can't appear in front of the world as the leader, so he's staying in the background and on the surface, it appears like Pakistan is running on autopilot.

Although I don't like Asim Munir because of the destruction he's caused to Pakistan, we're in a situation where we need the military to fight this war, so we need to support them no matter who's leading it. But I’ll allow myself to say that if Pakistan’s economy had been strong then it would have had many more friends in the world and its military would have had a much bigger budget to work with. But that’s all in the past. Now the war is upon us, and we’ll have to deal with it the best we can.

In a way it is advantage, no clear target for enemy propaganda steering public mood against leadership.

Strange how the ones shouting the loudest about bravery are always the ones who think strategy is measured by immediate explosions. India already made its move diplomatically, economically, and by suspending the Indus Waters Treaty. Real power isnt always noisy. It’s patient, deliberate, and it doesn’t have to announce itself with fireworks.

Meanwhile, some are still sitting at the border waiting for planes that arent coming, while others are busy flooding forums with tough guy memes. One side moves pieces on the board , the other side makes noise and hashtags.

While the Indian state escalates pressure, the pakistani state seems more focused on arguing with indian media, not because it changes facts, but because it looks like action to their own audience.

Bit moronic if you really think that way, Pakistan rattled and disrupted all your grand plans by doing nothing.
Those couple of airlifts from China and Turkiye are more worth for future strategic implications then centuries of p.a.j.e.e.t.s so called strategysation.

If adjusting aliances makes a country 'two-faced', pakistan might want to check its own mirror first. Preaching muslim solidarity but silent on uyghurs and sipping tea with saudis while they bomb yemen, friends with Taliban now not so much (or are you friends now- hard to keep up as it changes now and then), pocketed US aid while sheltering insurgents, and preaches Kashmir while crushing dissent at home. And remind me what exactly you have done for the Palestinians? In the real world, nations chase interests, not ideals. Pretending otherwise is just comforting fiction.

They have credit do so as they are fending off billion of savages at the bay.
