Because lets face it, these people have NOT seen any conflict, not armed terror groups, not IED incidents, not cross border terrorism, most Indians live insulated from all this, their exposure to conflict comes from watch Bollywood/Hollywood and playing CS:GO!

Let me tell you something from Personal experience in US, when I moved here and start working in my company, I met a lot of young and middle age people, blacks/white/Latino background who served in American forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, and not one single person has anything good to say about War or American foreign Policy, when I was selected to train new hires for IT Specialists calls I met this guy who was deployed near Pakistani border, the moment I told him that I am from Pakistan, so I asked him that do you guys have any skirmishes with Pakistan forces, he said many... And also said that in War we are ordered to do thing which we would never even think off, another guy who moved from Vermont to Florida, I met him and upon finding out where I am from he was asking me a bunch of questions, and once comfortable he told me story about seeing his colleagues dead bodies after a attack, some gruesome details which is not right to share here but also share a incident about shooting a whole Afghan Family including a 13 year old, father, mother and 2 sister and that incident was never reported to seniors and was buried, he quit Army due to PTSD...

Point is war is fun and funny as long as its fought on social media or movies, real life its destructive and will leave many scarred for life, that is why I am anti-war, and against US foreign policy of being world police and engage in War behalf of Israel, these gutter chap Indians on media and social media has no idea what a full scale war in this day and age will bring...

The world is in narrative fatigue after Ukraine and Palestine. Everyone is thinking another flashpoint over some small time local crime incident?
India were expecting the world to drop at their feet like they did with Israel but deep down they really don't care. And with India's petulant conduct over the last 10 years, they are very disliked.

Violence is normalized due to extreme bloodletting in Ukraine and Gaza; on top of that, people have changed a lot since the Pandemic on a psychological level.
In addition to that, India-Pakistan rhetoric and grandstanding has been a constant for decades--decades! --and still no real war since 1971. So the world maybe thinking like 'Sher Aya! Sher Aya!' ('Lion is here! Lion is here!' you know the childhood story which is the Pakistani equivalent of 'Cry Wolf'). Notice there are so few 'calls for restraint' from global community this time.
What I understand is: Pakistanis, for the first time ever, actually WANT a decisive war against India to shut up the water as weapon threat, to shut up the 'Cold Start' doctrine of Indian attack, to maybe even take IoK from India. The Indian supply lines into Kashmir is narrow and passes through a potentially hostile region of India: Just yesterday a retired Indian Army General Mr. Mehta carefully expressed doubts about Sikhs' involvement against Pakistan; I think he was referring to the Indian Army itself.

If ISI knows Indian strike is coming withing 24-36 hours why the hell is Pakistan not preempting? Unless Pakistan knows the strikes will be light and insignificant and will absorb the strike? If Pakistan believes strikes will be on their military forces in Kashmir they should take the first strike.

I won't be surprised if this news is true... if not tonight than next 48 hours they will do something, the voices from within are getting louder, so a much need distraction is required.

If Pakistan believes strikes will be on their military forces in Kashmir they should take the first strike.

Because than Pakistan will be seen as aggressor, which goes against the official narrative of Pakistan that we don't want war nor we are a war mongering nation, Plus it will help Indian current govt to sell it to their people that you see Pakistan attacked India etc etc.

Because we are sensible and chivalrous enough to not attack an enemy who is pretty much proven at this point to want excuses. Rest assured the strike back will be overwhelming.
