I think forum could do with automated sign-posting to other threads when someone is typing out a post. For example, I asked about Rafale SPECTRE and @Ali_Baba provided insight into limited capability of SPECTRE against AESA. Elsewhere in forum where this may have been discussed already, I could be sign-posted automatically before I submit my post to this thread. This would help prevent thread derailing and help foster good forum contributions and insha’Allah help foster a positive environment

You are talking about SPECTRE ability which lower its radar waves bouncing back by emitting waves of opposite phase? However there are ways to defeat this active cancellation. A SPECTRE a good option to have but not always practical to use.

I think Pakistan military has done superbly, responding very quickly

It's ability to send forces and equipment has been tested and they've done very well

India will hope for a event that they can claim some sort of victory out of, but Pakistans build up, array of weapons and fast response and has blunted India

Over the next 5 years we need to ensure our bases are covered, all the subs arrive and a our naval ships have all the required hardware

I think we need to expand our AD networks and ad a home grown SAM we can make in bulk whilst China or Turkey provide the high end solution

I'm fine with JF17s being prioritised for export customers, but unless J35s are just around the corner a increase of J10s to a solid 50 mark is necessary

Drones are vital, both home grown solutions and off the shelf

We are lucky both China and Turkey have taken massive steps in drone warfare but I want Pakistan to be able to mass produce FPV drones that would make any Indian incursion a bloody affair

hmm so upping the escalation ladder to the point where an all-out war would be inevitable in a single strike. I dont know why but i dont like this view point. If i was an in command in india i would then simply give orders for complete assault across all spectrum since the retaliation would just be the same either way. our leaders must be trying to bait india into not attacking at all with this doctrine.

Go full burner on the indigenous AAM development, sensor fusion, Elint/EW. Passive radars etc to reduce the foriegn dependancy to a bare minumum.

There is a great potential in the overseas Pakistanis in the fields of Signal processing, antenna design, digital communications, target tracking and sensor fusion etc. If I was the head of an R&D establishment like NASTAP, I would have invited our best chaps from abroad and given them the right incentives, maximum freedom and the best working conditions so they could deliver to the maximum of their abilities.
