There are many fronts to this war. One is the psychological angle of trying to divide and conquer. A point raised by Shezhad of the Pakistan Experience, I think should be highlighted and heeded; Regardless of who currently holds the office, in time of war (actual war, not some status of political emergency as could happen when this starts to die down) is we need to not bad mouth the office holders to
Indians. Its something I may have done as well, so no holier than thou, it will be something we will have to work on, so when this passes and a properly democratically elected government is office, the opposition can accord it the same deference in their duties, we need to now afford the current office holders.
Asim Munir is the COAS and Shabaz Sharif holds the office of the prime minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
P.S. I know this may sound like I got a “software upgrade”, but I assure you, this is not the case. IMHO, Let the office holders do their day job, so they can lay off those out of power, so PTI and other parties can work on building alternative solutions the nation may need sooner than we may expect, as India seems hell bent on trying to screw Pakistan by any means necessary.
