There was a news clip showing body cam footage of the first Indian troops arriving at the scene. A woman who survived the attack is seen pleading with the soldier to spare her children, he tells her he's a soldier. Why would the woman be afraid seeing his uniform? The assailants were perhaps wearing Indian army uniforms... i.e. it was carried out by the Indian army.
But lo and behold, the Indians immediately come up with sketches of allegedly Pakistanis. I find it extremely difficult to believe that in a region with over 700,000 Indian security personnel, a tightly controlled loc, road checks etc. Pakistanis could cross the border, carry out the attack, and vanish into thin air. I wouldn't be surprised if the sketches are of a few Kashmiri youths who will all of a sudden be found dead in a hideout house after a "gunfight" with Indian security, with Pakistani passports found in thir possession.
