From ambassadors in various countries, to politicians who've been dispatched by Asim Munir, even at the UN... everywhere it's the same de-escalation-de-escalation story by putting gun on own head & literally pleading everyone else to intervene??

Your guys were talking about clear military options and bragging to the world about how Pakistan has 'hurt' you, yet you do nothing, yes, yes we know it's coming like your politicians and media have said the world over.

Also, watch as India uses this moment to bring back the NRC and CAA, using it as a chance to expel Muslims from India, that are the same ethnicity, but just happen to be Muslims.

If the world isn’t watching, they will try to do it in a big way. Parrot Trump’s talking points and call them “Illegal immigrants”.

You are missing two points. First, the "irrelevance" of Pakistan that Indians and self loathing Pakistanis love to sprout cuts both ways, Western powers have very little leverage anymore wrt Pakistan. At least here. And secondly, its Feb 2019, everyone knows we can hit back and hard.

Im not missing them at all - you are purposely ignoring just how desperate Pakistani leaders are for any attention from the west to intervene in their favor especially since right now the US is enabling lifting of weapons and systems directly from Israel to India.

Moreover there is genuine “shit in their pants” concern regarding India using leverage on IMF and the actions with IWT.

However, public bravado is public bravado - and what has to be done and what can ve done is being done.

India on the other hand has not seen the results it wanted immediately and its window for any face saving via kinetic means is nearly closed.

I am not justifying the move. I am stating the facts as it is.

And it wouldn’t be the first of such moves by the humankind. There have been bigger ecological disasters across the world due to human greed and selfishness.

As of now suspension of IWT isn’t likely to have any impact. It would be many years before any infrastructure can be created and any impact felt. And there can be many more developments in the intervening period.
Who knows what would happen then.

And the context of my statement was many FMs challenging and demanding Modi to start the military campaign as a fallout of Pahalgam massacre.

The suspension itself creates a space which will lead to further lowering of “idiothresholds” on both sides. It is a stupid move which much like Trump’s Tariffs isnt going to provide the benefits touted and is more an internal political benefit aspect for BJP rather than actually benefiting India or Indians.
