If you are referring to 1971, that happened because nobody expected India to act like such a crook of a nation and invade illegally + take 90K hostages. The US did send its aircraft carrier but India's hostage blackmail saved them. Anyway, in case of China lets wait and see I think India is keeping its hopes too high that it will not get sandwiched from both sides. China has been looking for a chance to take India down and they will never get a better situation.

Yes, Chinese in a very interesting situation. They have Trump in power who is very transactional and having a trade war but US economy now actually shrinking, and India, who they have clashed with militarily now totally focused on Pakistan and Russia close to ending the Ukraine war.

Very interesting times for China. They can actually just sit back and wait and let their main rivals (US, Russia, India) tire themselves out, and of course help things a long too by supplying weapons where and when they need to

You can never trust Trump's US though. There is talk that Trump and Xi are planning a meetup at a high profile event that is in the works, on their joint birthdays at 14th / 15th June. Where North Korea might also join and Xi might sway Trump on his side relating to geopolitics, by agreeing for a good Tariff Deal. If Trump gets that Tariff deal form China, India will be completely left out in the waters unwanted by anyone. China's economy, market, manufacturing and skill base all will be far more valuable for the US, compared to India's.

Many Western analysts are also really spooked by India's assassination plots in US and Canada. I heard an interview of a congressman who said China for al its competition with the US, has never done anything like political assassinations in the North America and this fact alone is raising high concerns about letting India get too close. One can see the way Trump govt is refusing to take a side against Pakistan and get an iidea where the things are heading.

Okay this is not the thread topic at all but you guys just won't stop with it .. Will of Pakistanis ? You mean 31.22% of the popular vote in 2018 is will of ALL Pakistanis ? then what was the 32.77% popular vote that NS got in 2013 ? Half the people on this Forum alone hate IK as establishment's biggest blunder, let alone the rest of Pakistanis. IK was the biggest undisputed stooge of establishment himself from the day he started until the day he went down and he will again be, if they return him to power, 100% guaranteed ! There is no need for any other stooge in his presence. Anyway, all I'm saying is not to bring that person again and again indirectly or directly, we are all getting sick of it. this thread is for another topic to leave it for that. Well, I can talk at lengths on this subject. But I am not initiating it in this thread. Because I think the focus should be something else. I am only responding to people who can' t restrain themselves.

As far as "biggest mistake" or any other talk is concerned, that's completely incorrect point from the get go. Establishment has no right to decide who is mistake or not. Let people decide. Nation's mandate is beyond your petty thoughts. Whole purpose of the democracy dies if you can't respect its collective conscious. Whatever happened in past was wrong too. So according to your point because it happened in past to your beloved political parties, so its okay to do it this time?? And there's not even a shred of doubt that with the intensity it happened this time, the blatant mockery of the nation state is unimaginable. I mean torturing judges relatives to get favored ruling, making a lowest level cases like iddat, I mean you got yourselves fully exposed at every level. Murdering most patriot journalists like Arshad shareef and what not. Need pages after pages of the crimes of this junta. So don't get started where you won't find a space to hide but behind mods. If Mods are okay with it, I am all ready to show mirror to everyone on kind of mockery of the state you have created in last 3 yrs. You trampled everything, even firing live rounds on unarmed citizens in the capital. As I said, don't provoke me into something where you don't have any moral standing.
