Mainly to deny them a chance to fire a SPICE - 1000 (or 2000) from their own airspace and then turn back without any loss.
Any such strike would have been trumpeted as a victory by Modi (as he did in 2019)

Thanks for posting that. This guy is very close to the PAF and until I saw this I was quite skeptical about this story. I thought maybe J10’s got a lock but that’s it but after hearing Chisti’s comments after he’s been briefed by the PAF, does look like Indian attack package got some serious disruptions & had to abort. May well be linked to the Indian vice Air Chief getting fired & the serving chief being summoned by Modi
