Some heads should roll
Or get to the table and figure out the artificiallity of the situation .
Problem is no new dam is allowed to build in Pakistan by Sindh. Thats the only way to fight India water terrorism of stop and release in dry months.
Approve Kalabagh dam on emergency basis.
This is no PAF Ops ...so called TOP Secret ....Indian Majors are disappointing charachtersYou can’t blind eye everything this is hard evidence whether recent or old that intrusive actions have taken place inside military institutions
Sir I respectfully differ on the 2 nations part. Both are bastardised colonial expressions of a geography traumatizing the locals since the British left . But then his/her majesty don't have to deal with 30+ ambassadors , phewwwwww.That is the main point ....the two emotionally ill nations have been pushed into this situation....
Indians havent figured out the real culprits and dragged it to war with Pakistan ....and now there us no turning back ....
The point is not the ‘Top secret ops’ the point is how did your enemy gain access to camera systems inside your military installation. Even if it is nothing of valueThis is no PAF Ops ...so called TOP Secret ....Indian Majors are disappointing charachters
I have been listening to all sides on this issue of IWT for several days, including international experts and there is another perspective to this as well. First of all, even if India builds reservoirs to stop complete water from Pakistan, India can only ever block upto 35% of Pakistani water. As that much water originates and flows through India before adding into our own sources of water and ice. We get 65% of water form mountains, rainfall and snowfall within our own Northern Areas, or which originate too close to our borders to be blocked. But we have no capacity to store it and it just wastes away into the Ocean. Thus we keep relying on all year around natural flow of rivers to sustain our agriculture. Unlike many others including China who have built up capacities to store as much water as they can, from within their own territories, especially.
The water wars ARE going to happen. There is no way around it. Indian states are infighting for water already. Two years back, 3 of the Indian states had actual fights between their police forces at their borders, due to water sharing. So India will also have no choice but to do something about it.
I think its more important for us to build effective Dams on our side. If we do, we won't have to rely on India anyway. Our own Ice, rain and other sources will fill our reservoirs enough for our needs, by the time India finishes any projects on their side. For another 5 - 8 years we will really not face any meaningful issues from India on this matter, but if we ignore this now and do not start building Dams of our own, then yes ! We will ! So its also important for us to stop making this an issue of our ego.
Lets face the reality. We can either go to war with India so neither they, nor we store any water. Or we can also take responsibility for ourselves and start building as many dams to store enough of the water that originates within our borders and I hope our politicians and establishment are aware of this. If not then we also need to take responsibility and push our politicians to take responsibility and take care of this matter before India builds up their own reservoir capacities. China can easily help us o this matter and we can take care of it all.
Sabotaging a water supply is already an act of war. Pakistan needs to respond, and importantly, actually speak the language of responding to an overt act of war. That is the main point ....the two emotionally ill nations have been pushed into this situation....

It should be directly referred to as water terrorism and sabotage intended to inflict civilian casualties. We will respond militarily and also by way of accelerating our own water security.
The other point that people need to be reminded of is that the IWT was never a "treaty" in any sense.
There are 6 rivers in question. 3 of them are completely controlled by Delhi. The other 3 are source controlled by Delhi.
This was never a "treaty", but simply a mitigation of the deliberate independence era act of sabotage against Pakistani interests. Nehru had personal interests in J&K, as knowledgeable members of this forum have pointed out, however, he also know the long-term advantage of controlling Himalayan water sources.
The time to respond is now.
Ehhh not really…Agreed, our water doesn't come from India, only a portion does
The vast majority of it comes from our own areas
And the vast majority of that water is wasted
Now if someycan kindly explain the need for dams and reservoirs to the junglees in KP, Balochistan and Sindh it would be great because they have blocked them for decades out of sheer jahilat
Ehhh not really…
The majority of our water comes from Kashmir & Himachal Pradesh, The Chenab, Jhelum & Ravi plus Sutlej all depend on snow melt from the glacial regions inside India & IOK.
The only rivers which rely mostly on glacial ice melting for water inside PK are the Indus and small offshoots like the Kunar & Swat river.
