I think their army has already mobilized. They are hiding it as much as they can. I hope we are watching everything from satellites. Why we are so confident this time is not known to me. What if india starts full fledged war? And water? Nobody contacted countries to put pressure on india related to water crisis. They contacted every country to explain attack on Kashmir.

Why we are so confident that we will win this war or at least repel them? Why there is no statements of peace? Previously Imran led government tried Peace. The tune wasn’t very aggressive. This time, defense minister tune is aggressive like we are sure to win. Are we overconfident? Without water, we are doomed but there is no rush, no hurry to highlight this issue to the world. Blackouts? These are meaningless in this era of warfare. Night bombing (or day bombing) is no longer visual. Visual night bombing ended in 1945. Bombing of targets is now through gps, laser, or radar guided munitions, that will hit targets regardless of lighting or weather conditions. A missile strike relies on co-ordinates and inertial guidance. So don't understand what the drills are for.

I was thinking the same: Deception. They don't dare a repeat of 2019 strikes and wanting to be as sure as possible of a success. And they don't want a repeat of the 2002 Operation Parakarum either.
I think India will lose a lot of steam if the Chinese just place more soldiers along the LAC, especially in Ladakh. Just posturing will help a lot.

All this yapping seems to conclude for me that we’ll get something like Balakot x2 or x3. Just as they claimed back in 2016 and in 2019, that their strikes caused massive damage and casualties, they can sell this to their media and people again. I hope they’re not stupid enough to actually cause casualties. They’ll also be sure to take a note from PAF’s books and record their strikes better, and might want to settle a score for IAF with us in the air.

The only open points are, how to minimise risk given that Pakistan IADS and sea A2/AD network are more formidable than in 2019, and then the really tricky puzzle of how to prevent Pakistan responding or responding effectively. That last part, as soon as they can crack it, they’ll throw the punch.

The Wagah and Ganda Singh checkpoint parades. Is there any point in all the strutting, glaring, mustache twirling, shouting and feet stomping of the border guards?
There is no checkpoint in the world that has such a ridiculous show. Compare the South Korean-North Korean checkpoint at Panmunjom, or the earlier checkpoint between NATO & Warsaw Pact at "Checkpost Charlie" in Berlin. It's coldly professional and no words spoken. The guards are heavily armed, in combat fatigues not parade uniforms.
