Subject: *IAF Aircraft Shot Down Near Bahawalpur Airspace Violation*

🔹Today at approximately *0040 Hrs*, Pakistan Air Defence units successfully engaged and shot down an Indian Air Force (IAF) Rafale fighter jet after it violated Pakistani airspace near the Bahawalpur region.

🔹The aircraft was detected on radar entering Pakistani territory in a highly provocative and unprovoked airspace breach. In accordance with established protocols and in defense of national sovereignty, the hostile aircraft was intercepted and neutralized.

🔹Debris from the downed jet has been recovered inside Pakistani territory. Search and rescue operations are underway to determine the status of the pilot.

🔹Pakistan remains committed to peace but retains the sovereign right to defend its airspace against any aggression. The deliberate violation by the IAF is a blatant act of hostility that shall be responded to appropriately on diplomatic and strategic fronts.

I hope so.. but I have a feeling that the situation won't be escalated. Some visuals here and there and the mediation will start... accepted by both parties.

Now whether India accepts to release the hold on IWT is something I am not sure about.

This news was first reported by Chinese assets. They are monitoring each and every square kilometer.. I have heard.. not sure.

I partially agree with you, but on the other hand, there should have been something already on the table to respond immediately when you've been expecting an attack for a week and a half already.
 
India is saying, they only precisely targeted "terrorist" sites, means empty buildings or some madrassas? India also said they did not targeted Pakistani military.
So basically, modi wanted a face saving strike so Pakistan won't strike back. But let's see. Pakistan will prevail and will give them repeat of 2019. IA
