Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

I may get flak for this but diplomtically, poltically and militarily it may be worth ending it now.

Pakistan will look magnanimous

India has been seen globally as an aggressor

Pakistan has shown a feat of arms unrivalled in modern warfare for the last 30-35 years
Why should the barbarian hordes that amass at our eastern frontier not learn to fear us?

If our Vigorous Dragons and Thunders can actually provide an air umbrella, something we did not think possible until today, why can we not pummel their front lines?

Only a traitor will de-escalate now.

Their ground forces cannot harm us because we control a 200km wide strip of airspace.

Bombardment of their front lines will send the absolute minimum message that should be sent. Let them charge forwards and be slaughtered. Let their naval carrier come out from hiding. We can take it down. Don't forget, Ukraine destroyed several massive Russian ships with far less than what we have available.

To call for peace now would be absolute cowardice and betrayal of the people.

The media in general seems to be avoiding talking about the Indian losses, for example the BBC and AFP barely mention them, instead talking about the Indian strikes alone, as if Pakistan and India didn't just have a massive localized conflict.

People forget, China may be behind the US technologically, but they're now faaar ahead of whatever the Russians and the EU have to offer.

On a related side note:

The PL-15 and the HQ-9 seem to be the stars of the show. The PL-15 out ranged anything India seems to have armed their fighters with, and the HQ-9 has now been tested and battle-proven.

Now no one can say Chinese air tech has never faced real world conditions.
The media in general, specifically in the US, are downplaying the whole thing. Very little mentioned on Fox; way down the page. CNN, MSNBC, etc. All the same. Even Daily Mail.

The number is 6 now. I have been following this channel for months; is this a state-owned news network?

Pakistan army personnel saved that indian pilot in 2019. He was screaming and begging for mercy.
If only the locals had used western street fighting tactics of kick to the groin, poking his eyes out and headbutts

Once again guys it’s imperative to do your bit.
DONT post of any troop movement.
DONT report anything that may give the enemy an insight of planning.
DONT put out army in a compromising state
DONT report speculative material without confirmation of a reliable source.
And above all - keep your families and yourself safe.

European Media in particular is too occupied with Russia/Ukraine. They do not care to get into a lot of details about anything else these days. Plus, the UK made huge deals with India just yesterday. Economics plays a part too.

CNN, Reuters, Bloomberg and many others have reported Indian losses very clearly though.

I am double-minded on this. There is some merit to what you are saying but then I think India will try something nasty again after a few years.
But it is better to hear all arguments. Remember when India attacked Pakistan's Balakot in Feb. 2019: PDF members were all cursing the Pakistani military at first but when the next day Pakistan shot down Abhinandan the narrative changed 180 degrees?
I believe Pakistani planners are factoring in a lot of things right now and as of now Pakistan has the upper hand in not only the narrative but also militarily. The last 12-15 hours were not just about 5 Indian aircrafts vs the Pakistani civilians: India too suffered many casualties and destruction and loss of face and a new deterrence is being put in place by Pakistan. So Pakistan has to absorb the new knowledge and act on that...

Yes - but Ill repeat this aspect:

This is NOT just a military engagement or military equation.

Imagine a movie - there are actors, directors, equipment, producers, distributors, external regulations and so onx

Each of those requirements has to be balanced and almost like a slider control for a video game where if you increase one strength you lose points in another - you cannot go all out in one aspect such as military without losing points available diplomatically or economic or internal security.

You are all discounting the ready to go “Indian” troops in TTP and BLA who are in full attack mode and reports say they are taking up positions in FATA and Balochistan.
Gains made over months could be lost within days
i am sure those 'Indian' troops are ready, but then so are millions of Pakistani 'troops' - the general youth, who are ready to lay down their lives for the country.

They can take care of the indian troops while our armed forces are busy elsewhere.
