PAF has F16 and Mirage retire, so maybe few squadrons more J10 will do the job.
We would buy 100 J10s tomorrow if we could

It's the economy, we need to sort it out so we can fund projects a d our defence

Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said in his speech at the National Assembly of Pakistan that Pakistan shot down Indian fighter jets, including Rafale fighter jets, all of which were J-10C fighter jets.

Can china give a squadron of their oldest J10C to Pak?

1. PLAAF's active J-10C's were all produced within the last 10 years, we don't have oldest J-10C.

2. PLAAF's own version of the J-10C is an air superiority fighter and PAF's foreign trade version of the J-10CE is a multi-mission fighter. They need to be remodeled and adjusted.
We can urgently retire a batch of J-10Cs when Pakistan is in a state of crisis, refit them and send them to Pakistan to support PAF. but we have not reached that stage yet.

3. currently, PLAAF has a number of J-10Bs. they have been modified and upgraded to J-10BGs. they can be decommissioned and sold.

I'm not in charge, you have to ask Mr.Xi.

Its just an idea for China and Pak, in war
times China can give their old stock that is close to retirement.

It can be put into good use.

Right now - for this round of skirmishes, PAF needs air-superiority more than Multi-role fighter right now. This tit-for-tat has a few more rounds before it stops.. They wont be used outside of PAF Airspace, so they can be kept secure. etc. Let see if PAF asks for some additional units to bulk up. They will need to be customised for Pakistan to some level anyway to fit into Pakistans C&C/IADS etc.

I see things a little differently than you do.

After the air war on May 7, it was clear that India was incapable of launching another similar air war. ------ They don't have more or better fighters. Any fighter they have now is no match for the J-10CE/JF-17B3. They don't have enough pilots to send to their deaths, nor do they have enough money to buy more and better fighters.

If they are stupid enough to launch another similar attack operation, it will just be more exercise for the PAF.

I think India will move to “attack and disrupt” attacks in the future. Massive numbers of small suicide UAVs or missile attacks, constantly hitting Pakistan and creating panic.

So, I would suggest Pakistan to consider more defense systems. For example, 625E, laser anti-UAV system, etc. Also more man-portable air defense missiles can be assigned to frontline soldiers.

Just admit it - these are the Elite PILOTs of the PAF that have made this possible. IT IS DUE TO PAF that J-10 has now finally got a brand name.Yes there is hardware and software. But all this is just Average without these pilots in them.
I can go as far as to say that even Chinese Pilots need to learn a lot from PAF strategies. Yes China has some very good toys - but their Pilots need a lot of real war training.
