Maybe old news by now---

1. the PL-15 deal was done in 2021.

2. the results are showing that it may have the sticker of a Pl 15-E but the actual performance is that of the one with a longer distance capability.

You never know till you know.

Sir according to someone I know, China provided the Not-For-Export version recently..

With the E version, we would be at par with Indian Rafales. Anything could have happened.

While admiring what you are say, I want to say Afghanis will not be able to do much against India in this age and time. I means, it's a war of technology rather than being just with a gun/Kalashnikov.
The biggest favor that Afghanis can do to Pakistan is eliminating (or at least arresting) the RAW-supported terrorists in Afghanistan. Hindu mushrikeen are using these brainless idiots to explode themselves for killing the followers of Kalma Tayyibah (i.e. Muslims) in Pakistan.

Hm..IAF is one great weakness of India. WE all know that. Failure to build engines and ability to maintain fleet strength has demoralized and depleted IAF.

But same can't be said for Army or Navy. Both have made great strides in indigenization and capacity building. We will eventually crack the plane thing too. Poor time to engage in combat though.

u can make them engines and/or the maintenance kits..
u can't maintain a fleet of 4+ types of aircrafts.
