@Areesh @HRK How would you feel if Pakistan did similar retaliation that it did in 2019 but this time deeper into Indian territory, i.e. bombing close to military installations to show that we can actually hit them if we wanted to but showed restrain to de escalate?

Would not be enough.

-The fact that India did what it did POST 2019 attests that those actions weren't enough to establish deterrence.
-Pakistan did not loose any citizens last time around, which is why when the response was given in swift retort, there was special attention not to kill anyone on the ground, just wanted to show capability and resolve.
-Now the conditions are different, India has targeted Pakistani cities and continued from a point where a de-escalation could've been made i.e. using their drones across the international border.

The Response Pakistan gives will have to be such where it shows resolve+capability however, be at such a level where Pakistan can deter further actions from the Indian side in the future.

But what about the on ground forces and defence systems of pakistan? Can they resist the missiles?

once their AF and LR SAMs are out, then PAF can crush their missile batteries pretty quick, besides India does not have an overwhelming capability compared to our ground forces.

If they had tonnes of money they would have bought 126 as they had been planning for that number for over a decade. Does not matter how big your budget is, you can't spend all of it on new capex. And this is not just buying the new jets, its the whole setup maintenance, spares, weapons, training, blah blah blah

I'll be happy if they spend more on defense and stunt their economic growth, we can always counter it at a fraction of a price as no one can beat China in product/cost efficiency.

Still doesn't answer the belligerence problem and how India can be put in its place in the near short to mid term. A wise man once said there'll be another Pulwama, and here we are.

Its clear the policy of restraint has failed and the top strategic and diplomatic echelon should really step down for new bold thinkers.

not true, PAF has 24/7 live access (Thanks to China), regarding 30 planes in the air, PAF learn its lesson from Balakot when Indians tried to deceive by using multiple formations to draw our caps away from the intended attack location.
