Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

I cannot even comprehend the Indian media and andbhakts' obsession with PAF F16's pilots. I have seen teenagers who are obsessed with their exes but this obsession is something i have never seen in my life. Modi has worked so hard to demolish IAF's professionalism. Are we sure Modi is not an ISI's agent?

Well... what do you guys make of this?

For now but we must not forget that this is not over yet and India may, or will force another large air to air engagement that will be “pure air to air only” with a view of trying to shoot down a PAF jet. They will try and find a way to pitch their Rafales with Meteors to go against F16s or block 2 JF17s. India is desperate for a air to air shoot down of any type right now.

India has the advange of being to move her Rafales around to try and force this scenario while Pakistan has the more complicated task of trying to keep track of the Rafales and then ensure they can pair them with Rafales.

JF17 block 2 and F16 have a range advantage on everything in the Indian airforce except for the rafales for which we have JF17C and J10CE’s.

I wonder if further delivery of jets can be loaned out or expediated

It seems prudent right now

I don't believe forces will rest until they can inflict a plane strike but will talk de-escalation

What is mood in Greek establishment after seeing this? What are defence experts talking there ?
Well I've only checked a couple of good defence sites and they want to wait for more information to come out. They want to wait and see after the fog of war has cleared,if there are confirmations and solid evidence. But everyone is interested.

Some people at the comments considered the shooting down as Pakistani propaganda,
some praise the Chinese weapons and others call them "putintrolls" accusing them of loving the Russian-Chinese block...

No official discussions or comments yet. The DEFEA 2025 expo is currently going on(or just ended?)in Athens where a lot of defence companies are showing their products,so most sites are focused on that.

I did hear from a friend though, that Turks have gone wild on Turkish forums.

There is a saying a stitch in time saves nine.

We may face the consequences for the delayed response even by those who are pressuring us not to respond in diplomatic manner.

We have lost the ideal time, respond

That’s why I don’t think Pakistan will respond to Indian cities they will try to stick to IOK and the fanboys will say 5 jets is equal to 26 civilians.

India... Forget dreaming about facing the lions of Pakistan army, even a farmer in flipflops riding a CG 125 armed only with an AK-47 is more than a match for you.

The drones and S400 combo attack shows they are getting desperate now.
I agree with you to some extent. India must be desperate to get some sort of face saving as far as Airforces are concerned. But i think they know quite well there is a huge risk of gaining another humiliation if they go for it too.

enough serious discussion needed a break ..... lets see some indian news

Very true but a few things

1) They only have 33 Rafales now. Unsure if all of them are against us and some not being kept against China
2) After the last few days these would have seen a lot of action, so downtime will be big. Assuming 75% at peacetime, I would imagine around 25 available for ops out of 33. That is not a huge number
3) Unsure how many Meteors they have now, these are expensive and will be slow to replace unless French do them a massive favour
4) I am REALLY hoping China is readying spare J-10Cs for us (they do not consider it a major frontline asset anyway)
5) Our spares for J-10C/JF-17 are going to be much more available then India's for the Rafale so unsure how heavy they may use them going forward
6) AEW (Thank god we invested heavily here), our fleet of 9 Erieyes means we should be able to have 3 in the air most times. IAF will struggle with 1 in the air (Phalcon is a mainetencoe nightmare on IL-76 airframe)
